Zhang's kitchen is our favorite go to spot for Chinese food and dimsum in Dallas! The food is delicious! Favorites include crab fried rice, seafood tofu soup, calamari, honey walnut shrimp, peking duck, lobster, beef chow fun, and any of their dimsum items. The owner and servers are all friendly and customer-oriented and the food is always fresh and authentic. The prices are very fair compared to inflation costs. Their hot chili oil is individually packaged and also delicious to grab to eat with their food.

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in DFW and specifically my favorite dim sum spot. The food is authentic, fresh and so freaking good. The menu is massive too if you don’t want dim sum. Since everything is made fresh and their own recipe it all has a uniqueness to it. Highly recommend!

I was disappointed with my experience at Zhang Kitchen. The food didn't live up to the high recommendations I had heard. While the wait time of about 25 minutes wasn't terrible, the service was lacking. Our orders were frequently forgotten, and we had to remind the staff multiple times, only to find they had forgotten again.
Additionally, some dishes that were meant to be enjoyed together were served at the end of the meal, which disrupted the dining experience. When we asked for more napkins, we were given just one. It seemed like they struggled to handle a larger crowd. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

One of the worst dim sum experiences I’ve had in DFW. Some of the dishes like our har gow was cold in the center. The rice paper in the har gow and shrimp noodle roll fell apart whenever we tried to pick it up. None of the dishes felt like they were made fresh.
Costco’s frozen dim sum would’ve been loads better than what was served to do us. Def would not recommend for dim sum.

Zhang’s has stepped up their game from a few years ago. What was once a place to go for Dim Sum is now serving delicious and authentic Chinese dishes. They have a large menu and the last few times we’ve gone we ordered different things and we really liked every single entree. Their service is phenomenal and they’re really helpful in putting together a versatile menu.
