I really would recommend Cafe Chris. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is really good as well so are the desserts.

I've been going here for years. My go-to is the chicken fried steak. I prefer the white gravy, but my husband loves the brown gravy. The cheese soup is a must!! The only thing I would change is...if they would open on the weekends. 🙂 But I highly recommend trying it out. **Mondays is a must for their cheese soup!!

I've been here twice before and the first time they put sliced cheese on chilli cheese fries in a basket made it hard to eat and don't even get me started on the pastrami sandwich smallest amount of meat I've ever seen at a restaurant my wife got the chicken fried steak and it was all batter very flat and tough meat the cashier said we never get complaints haha I guess she doesn't read Google paid 60 dollars for three plates and one was a hamburger... sorry but there is no third time im going back.

1st time there. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered the catfish which was delicious. Everything was fresh on my fruit salad. Will definitely go again. Heard the burgers were super delicious. Going to try that next

Today’s lunch special was fabulous. The chicken fried steak was delicious, the mashed potatoes and gravy were yummy, and the strawberry pie was out of this world! If you didn’t eat exactly this for lunch, you missed out.Thank you ladies! And, yes, I bought the t-shirt!

Had a good stop eating a chicken fried chicken while at Pleasanton.The food was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. Other than the flies flying around, and the waitress killing them with a fly swatter I had a pretty good meal experience

The atmosphere was great. I loved the red and white table covering it has a welcoming vibe. The service was great. The food was delicious. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, and it covered the entire plate. The meat had a good flavor, and it did not have too much batter. The chopped steak and brown gravy were delicious. I will definitely be back to try other items.
