Saw a billboard off of I-37 north that read “Pleasanton: birthplace of the cowboy” and decided to go find a bbq joint while on the road. I had a chopped beef sandwich the other day that was nicely filled. They wasn't skimping on the meat. It was pretty good. Also had a cup of extra sauce that I found hit the spot. The sauce was kind of black peppery tasting which satisfied my spicy craving for me that day. I was full and happy! Wife and I hit this place up for lunch during a motorcycle outing. They have a nice outdoor seating area, which is what caught my eye in the first place. I had the pulled pork sandwich, the wife got the two meat plate with sausage and brisket. The pulled pork was really nicely seasoned and the sandwich was hardily packed with meat. The brisket though.
