I do like this coffee house. The vibe is nice, the coffee is tasty, and the food is yummy. It is particularly nice considering it is a coffee house in a small town. I didn't give full stars for service or atmosphere because the younger employees have made me feel uncomfortable. Staring, whispering... although there is an older lady who works there who always makes me feel right at home.
I love hanging out with a cortado at our gem of a coffee shop in Pleasanton, TX, Pleasant Perk! The owners and their staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The espresso drinks rival any I've had anywhere! The drive thru is handy and the service quick considering each drink is individually prepared to your exact order!
I have traveled to many small towns in Texas. It is hard to find a good, sweet iced coffee outside a chain. Pleasant Perk is exactly what any sweet tooth, iced coffee aficionado needs. Their Perky Cowgirl is a 10/10 and their piglets are a must. I don’t know when I’ll be back, but I have to come back.
