Quick pit stop for a couple of brisket sandwiches— they were tender and flavorful without being oversmoked. Fast service, friendly folks. Worth it!

Excited to eat some delicious ribs just to end up with rewarmed ones .. disappointed. Brisket was good and tea was good .. but craving for some ribs was no where near satisfied.

We stopped here on our way to the coast. So glad we tried Texas Prime. The brisket was so tender. The spicy smoked sausage was very good too. At first we didn’t get spice but then on the back we did. Very delicious. I’m not a fan of potato salad but Texas Prime’s was creamy and seasoned well.

Had the best brisket ever made it melted in your mouth and the nachos were so delicious it was amazing if you ever stop by or going to San Antonio this place is the perfect spot for a good brisket and good chicken and cakes and I can’t even explain how good it was.

Texas Prime BBQ has some solid offerings, but it left me feeling a bit underwhelmed overall.

The service was great—friendly and quick, which definitely made the experience better. I also really enjoyed the spicy sausage, which had a decent kick and was well-seasoned. The cheesecake at the end was pleasant—creamy and flavorful.

That said, the main event—the BBQ meats and sauce—fell short. The flavor just wasn’t there. Both the meat and the sauce were pretty bland, lacking the smoky depth or bold seasoning I expect from Texas BBQ. On top of that, the temperature of the food was a bit off—it just wasn’t hot enough, which took away from the overall experience.

Not a bad spot, but not quite the BBQ standout I was hoping for.

First time!
The meats and barbecue sauce had a funky taste I couldn’t figure out. Didn’t care for the potato salad the green beans were great.
