Food is always excellent. However was shocked at having a very impersonal experience and having to order from a kiosk. I expect that from McDonald's but never from HEB. To me that's what sets HEB apart from other stores. I hope the leaders/managers at HEB don't forget about customer service also includes having an interaction with the customer

I finally had the opportunity to try out True Texas BBQ for the first time a few days ago at the HEB in Pleasanton. I'll start by saying I'm beyond picky about brisket.....can't be too fatty, can't be dry or too chewy and the tiniest bit of gristle and the whole meal will go in the garbage......you get the picture. Anyway, heading in to pick up a few grocery items while visiting my niece in Jourdanton, the first thing to catch my eye was the True Texas BBQ...

Had their brisket chili bowl. Nice chunks of brisket, but tough. The chili was quite salty and had more tomato than chili. The seating area is quite small and there was no sign of sanitation between customers. HEB employees on break took up about half of the seats.
