Emily, the Barista, made a perfect Latte Breve style.
Super friendly, super delicious, went two days in the trot and Emily remembered my order without me even asking!

The barista was nice and the shop was really cute. However, I would not come back here. I couldnāt finish my coffee. I ended up throwing it out and going elsewhere to get another one. I realized that the barista gave me a cold brew latte instead of a regular one. It just tasted bitter and weirdly syrupy at the same time.

Made drinks without the espresso and would not provide a refund. The drinks were so bad we didnāt even drink them. They offered to remake the drink but I declined. $20 for two drinks.
Went here every day over a long weekend and loved making it a morning habit. Drinks were always well made and delicious. On our way out of town Emma stayed and made us one more round of drinks even though she was closing up shop. Thanks Emma š
Great atmosphere, large cinnamon rolls and smooth tasting cold brew. We will be going back.

I think the coffee is just okay, not great. But the vibe is great, as is the location.

I've been here for nearly two weeks, and it took me a few days to discover Barefoot Beans, but I'm glad I did. I've been there almost every day since. The staff is incredibly kind and makes matcha just like I do at homeāit's perfect. Also, ask Parker for his favorite smoothie. It's ideal for a morning treat.
I have a few more mornings here on Port A, and I plan on getting my matcha here every day.

TLDR; the iced coffee is not good, the wait is long and the staff donāt pay attention to your order (wrong order and you spend so long waiting to order you donāt want to wait for them to fix it).
I went to this shop twice, once at this location and then gave it a second chance at the location inside the Island Bakery.
The vibe is great and the staff are friendly, I liked the live music happening at this location at 10am (a unique touch), but the coffee itself was disappointing both times.
The first visit I got an iced latte, the coffee was on tap but since it wasnāt espresso it just tasted weak and watery. There was a 20-30 minute wait for a line of 15 or so people.
I decided to give Barefoot Beans a second chance, but the second visit was awful. I asked for an iced latte again with 2% milk, this time asking for espresso instead of the watery tap coffee which they did.
After a lengthy wait (20 minutes for a line of 8 people), I got back to the car and took a big first sip. I immediately noticed the milk they used was not 2% and was actually half and half. I ended up throwing it out, I felt sick for the rest of the day. I donāt know who would want to drink a 16oz iced coffee that is 90% half and half especially when not requested.
2/2 disappointing experiences.

All my coffee drinking friends... add this to your list of places to stop while in Port A! I stopped in around 630am and picked up a dirty matcha. It was delicious! The coffee was the show stopper though! It was so good! It was fresh and bold and I loved it!!! If we were staying longer, I would've stopped in several more times! Our barista was awesome!!! Also loved the vibe. It is a warm, friendly, chill beach vibe. There is indoor and outdoor seating with some other shops in the same area. Because I stopped in so early, the other shops weren't open but I did enjoy some outdoor seating while I started my morning with some caffeine.

Great staff. Super friendly and accomodating. Really cool shop within, and great outside "patio" area that I can only describe as a highly positive vibed zwn garden that is clearly well maintained.
Got one of the tastiest White mocha's I've ever had, and an extremely delicious sausage and cheese kolache/klobĆ”snĆk. First visit, but won't be the last by any means.

Iāve been obsessed with this place since I first discovered it in January. I came to Port A for my birthday weekend, and before we could even unpack, we headed to grab some drinks here. From coffee, smoothies, and the variety of teas, iām confident anyone can find something theyāll enjoy here. Parker is always super kind, and all the baristas give this coffee shop so much life, making it stand out from the rest. They had no problem giving me recommendations of places to visit while here, which made the bday weekend even better. One of the hardest parts about going back home is leaving this coffee shop, but it always gives me something to look forward to when we do come to town again! edit: pictured below is a Bob Marley tea! 10/10!!!
