Had chicken tenders, the largest I have ever seen, Angus beef hamburgers with the greatest flavor and wonderful Mahi Mahi Fish and fries. The side salad was excellent! Not just lettuce. I was not disappointed, but surprisingly pleased! Great wait staff! Will go again. 10/10”

“We Loved this place! We ate here for breakfast. The food was great. It was hot, fresh, and served quickly. The staff & service was awesome. The restaurant was clean, and full of sports memorabilia which we absolutely loved. Our server (I think her name was Marie or Maria) was equally as awesome. She took care of all 10 of us, and was super nice and friendly.
We visit Port A often and this was our 1st visit to Coach's.
Definitely won't be our last!”

“The VFW is an Amazing organizations that benefits our veterans and community. They cater benefits of all natures for our members, community and town. Open to the public for large clean atmosphere, shuffleboard (local tournaments on Wednesday and Saturday 1pm), pool, drinks, and gaming. Kid friendly. Westerns on daily. Great senior camaraderie! Open everyday 13p.m. -10p.m. midnight on thr weekends.”

“If you are looking for a neat little coffe shop, then this is a must! They also have a little boutique inside, and cute little gifts. We were recently there on vacation, and I went 3 days in a row to get the Almond Joy iced coffee. My sister had brought me a S'mores one the 1st day there. I visited everyday while we were on vacation, and now that I am home I wish I had a almond joy iced coffee! It was delicious! I wish I knew how to make it, because that is all I have been thinking about! Definitely will be back next year.”

“The one time we're not hounded by a tip screen, we actually wanted to leave one. The young lady at this establishment could not have been nicer. She insisted we bring our pup up on the deck to get him off the asphalt and gave him a cup of water. She answered our questions politely and served our order promptly and generously. It was nice to see someone appearing to enjoy being at work rather than treat her customers like a chore. Will be back soon just to assuage our no-tip guilt.”

“We had a great experience at the Port A Creamery. Friendly staff and ice cream was delicious. Don’t go anywhere else.”

“This is a great donut shop. We went around 8:20am and they had a huge selection of donuts. We got donut holes (3 dozen), Kolaches (pigs and a blanket) (12), and apple fritters (3). It was roughly 33$ but Kolaches are usually pricey. They were all warm and yummy. This is similar to true donuts and not like the funnel cake or hostess kind. The donut holes were light and fluffy. Nothing was too overpowering so if you’re looking for something like Dunkin Donuts this isn’t for you.

The staff were really nice and worked quick. The inside had some chairs/booths to sit and eat but it was more for a quick bite not long term sitting. Everything was clean and tidy. This was exactly what I was looking for!”

“C Treats was the perfect way to end our night. The worker who helped us was incredibly kind and got us served quickly even though it was busy. We both had cookies and cream ice cream with toppings, and it was delicious,
creamy, generous, and exactly what you want from a late-night treat. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, making it a great place to hang out and enjoy dessert. We’d definitely come back again.”

The front office staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the Inn and the town, gave us great recommendations and went the extra mile for us as far as accommodations. The rooms were a step into the past, that non of us had ever lived in. We enjoyed and appreciated all the period pieces of furniture and the quaint rooms. Whether it's quick adult get a way or a family fun event you won't be disappointed. If you've got the time, make plans to stay here. I could go and on.. “We were so relieved to find this Subway location after our terrible experience on North Padre. An employee named Traci was so efficient and despite being super busy was friendly and very efficient getting our sandwiches made very quickly with minimal wait. This location is also very clean and the quality of the fresh veggies was a nice surprise. We definitely anticipate being regulars here.”

After five days along the Texas Gulf Coast, this was one of only two restaurants I’d happily return to, the other being in Rockport. If you’re looking for a solid meal in the area, this is a safe bet.”

“I have been coming to Grumbles since it opened. I’m down here a lot checking on my property… just me and my quiet little dog. Grumbles has the kindest, most courteous staff EVER! The food is fantastic… I love all of the seafood, and the fried green tomatoes are amazing. I can sit with my dog anywhere, quietly and no one bats an eye unless to ask if either of us needs anything. The vibe is fantastic, not to mention the friendly bartenders when my lady friends come down for some R&R and good cocktails. Love love love Grumbles!”

“this past weekend ( Aug 2nd) we took some family and a few friends and stopped by to get some ice cream. not only was there only 1 employee doing BOTH the scooping and the cash out, but the A/C was also acting up! with that said, let me tell you, we had the best time, the lady behind the counter was not only scooping her butt off, but she was so happy and nice and making jokes with us. there was a line out the door and not one time while we were there did we see her shut down, quit or be anything less than 100% enjoyable to be around. she was impressive and deserves all the praise for how she handled the 80000 extra people on the island.”

“If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. We’ve eaten seafood all over the Texas coast, and Trout Street Bar & Grill has officially set the bar. Nothing else we’ve had even comes close. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between coastal charm and an upscale dining experience, and the menu offers something for everyone without feeling overwhelming. What truly separates this place is the quality of the seafood. Knowing the fish is caught locally and often goes from the boat to the kitchen the very next day and then to your table..is something you can genuinely taste. Every bite was incredibly fresh and cooked perfectly. Great food is one thing, but pairing it with outstanding service, an inviting ambiance, and an obvious passion for quality makes for an unforgettable meal. Trout Street Bar & Grill is hands down the best seafood restaurant we’ve experienced on the Texas coast. We’ll be talking about this meal for a long time, and it’ll be our first stop every time we’re back in Port Aransas. Freaking amazing! Way to go, Trout Street Bar & Grill.
