“If you are looking for a neat little coffe shop, then this is a must! They also have a little boutique inside, and cute little gifts. We were recently there on vacation, and I went 3 days in a row to get the Almond Joy iced coffee. My sister had brought me a S'mores one the 1st day there. I visited everyday while we were on vacation, and now that I am home I wish I had a almond joy iced coffee! It was delicious! I wish I knew how to make it, because that is all I have been thinking about! Definitely will be back next year.“

“My family and I were visiting from San Antonio and ended our night at Shorty's two of those nights. Great live music and friendly bar staff. I left my debit card there and realized when we were already halfway home Sunday. They mailed it to me in San Antonio! Solid place. We will be back again.“

“We Loved this place! We ate here for breakfast. The food was great. It was hot, fresh, and served quickly. The staff & service was awesome. The restaurant was clean, and full of sports memorabilia which we absolutely loved. Our server (I think her name was Marie or Maria) was equally as awesome. She took care of all 10 of us, and was super nice and friendly.
We visit Port A often and this was our 1st visit to Coach's.
Definitely won't be our last!“

“My experience at The Phoenix Restaurant & Bar was pretty normal overall. It’s not a bad place, but it doesn’t really stand out, especially for the area—nothing particularly exclusive about it.
One thing to keep in mind is that the interior is quite small, so it can get pretty loud and crowded. Because of that, it’s not the most comfortable spot if you’re looking for a calm, relaxed dinner where you can really enjoy the moment. It feels more like a place to eat quickly and move on rather than sit and unwind.
In terms of food and pricing, everything was okay, but the prices felt a bit high for what you get. There are definitely other options nearby that offer more value or a better overall experience.
That said, the location is a big plus. It’s very nice on the outside and being right by the pier gives it a great view and easy access, which makes it convenient if you’re already in the area.
Overall, it’s a normal spot—not somewhere I’d choose for a special occasion or a quiet dinner, especially because of how busy and noisy it gets. It works if you just need a quick bite, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.“

“I love this place. It was late and the GM told me to come on in and they would feed us.
They go the extra mile here. The service and the good were amazing. That willingness to go the extra mile sold this place and made us feel extra special! I will be coming back!“

“Lots of people come here to have such bad reviews. We came to eat breakfast and really enjoyed the food. The people watching is lit (might explain the bad reviews 😂). Tortillas are homemade so yummy! We had several different tacos .. potato, egg, cheese,bacon & chorizo, egg and one of us had the micas plate… all of it was very good. Refills were slow but they were busy. Our waitress was great and very sweet… she is in the picture. I’m sure she needs a raise to deal with all of these watchable people.
Clean ladies room with toilet paper high on the wall… if you know you know.
