“Excellent! We had fried mushrooms and onion rings as an appetizer and they were both fantastic! Mushrooms perfectly cooked and right size. Onion rings were thinly cut and nicely seasoned. I had the fried shrimp and fish plate and it was enough for two! 6 shrimp and three pieces of fish. My hubby had the chicken fried steak and it was a real chicken fried steak! Nice selection of drinks as well.“
“Just recently got back from a trip to Port Aransas and wanted to say how much we enjoyed Port A Beer Hut. Not only is the service outstanding (both the owner and the bartender were great), the atmosphere is fun and relaxing, the swings are a blast and the beer is great. We had to stop by every evening and were never disappointed. It is a wonderful stop in Port Aransas.“
“Jeff the bartender made me wait out back in the staff area when I asked for a beer. I obliged because I was thirsty. He then asked if I was comfortable dressing up like Mr. Rogers, I obliged because I was thirsty. He then brought me my beer and told me to clean myself up and look presentable to the regulars, he was so kind and made me feel welcome that I welcomed everyone to the neighborhood,and I just hope this becomes one of his shirts.Parking: Good parking.“
“I had a great experience at this beach bar! The bartender's skill and attentiveness, even with a packed bar, were impressive. The venue itself is well-designed, both indoors and outdoors, with a lively band from Corpus adding to the fun ambiance on the patio that night. What truly stood out was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by both the staff and fellow patrons. As travelers passing through, my wife and I felt genuinely embraced by the friendly crowd, making it the highlight of our night after encountering less welcoming spots elsewhere in town.“
“If you haven’t been here, what are you waiting for. The food was phenomenal. Seriously, some of the best food I have eaten in a while. Service was amazing. We had two lovely ladies waiting in our table and we lacked for nothing. The wine recommendation was on point and the dessert was exceptional.This will be our go to spot when in Port A.“
