“No food, but it has juices you can buy with your drink. Has karoake on Thursdays and Saturdays, and a dj on Fridays! It is cash only, so make sure to be prepared. If you are not, they have an ATM!! Great people, a lot of locals. It is a smoke friendly bar, so be aware. Definitely recommend!“

“They will cook your catch here and do a fantastic job doing it. they serve it family style with your choice of sides with hush puppies and coleslaw. The service is fun and efficient. The full bar is also a plus with every thing including non alcohol beers and topo Chico. You will enjoy it.“

“Service is outstanding at Whiskey Palm and the atmosphere is so cool! Bourbon selection is the best! They have a great craft drink menu with your standard mix drinks being available also, plus they offer beer, seltzers, etc. A must visit while in Rockport, TX. And once you go, you’ll be back!“
“My family and I were visiting from San Antonio and ended our night at Shorty's two of those nights. Great live music and friendly bar staff. I left my debit card there and realized when we were already halfway home Sunday. They mailed it to me in San Antonio! Solid place. We will be back again.“

“Beautiful pool side delivery! So fun to eat and swim! Really wonderful staff, super kind girl with blond hair in braids helped us today. Shrimp was pretty good, but the fried pickles, mahi tacos and fries & ranch dip were all really good! /salad was not so good. Highly recommend the prickly pear margarita, absolutely delicious !!!“

“My experience at The Phoenix Restaurant & Bar was pretty normal overall. It’s not a bad place, but it doesn’t really stand out, especially for the area—nothing particularly exclusive about it.
One thing to keep in mind is that the interior is quite small, so it can get pretty loud and crowded. Because of that, it’s not the most comfortable spot if you’re looking for a calm, relaxed dinner where you can really enjoy the moment. It feels more like a place to eat quickly and move on rather than sit and unwind.
In terms of food and pricing, everything was okay, but the prices felt a bit high for what you get. There are definitely other options nearby that offer more value or a better overall experience.
That said, the location is a big plus. It’s very nice on the outside and being right by the pier gives it a great view and easy access, which makes it convenient if you’re already in the area.
Overall, it’s a normal spot—not somewhere I’d choose for a special occasion or a quiet dinner, especially because of how busy and noisy it gets. It works if you just need a quick bite, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.“

“Absolutely amazing! Food was out of this world delicious. My husband is super picky and asked for blackened chicken breast served with their lemon pasta and was blown away with its combined flavor. He left expressing how it should be put in the menu. Kirsten was our server and served well. Our reservation was for 7 1/5 at 8pm, food was not served till 930 but Kirsten handled it well. Will definitely be back. Thank you!
Also for those who have little ones, have no worries. They will fit right in.“

“Virginia's was one of my first stops as soon as I arrived! I HIGHLY recommend the Yellowfin Tuna from the appetizers menu! I went twice during this visit and brought some home with me!!! I have loved this ever since I tried it years ago. Great job Virginia's!!!“

“My most favorite place for brunch 🥂 My greatest challenge is deciding what to order because WOW…it’s all amazing!!! The Benedict choices are all super great 😋 and every Hash is amazing 😋 but the Waffle Tacos are beyond what I can describe with words 😋 The food is amazing, service is excellent, and you can’t beat the relaxing view. My favorite way to spend a weekend morning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Dinner is also amazing, but I am particularly fond of brunch 🧜♀️ ☀️“
