The burgers are ridiculously good and in the area possibly the best dive bar grill, but not staph infection dice but more just easy rider dive. The service is a little slow but in the era of not enough workers this is to be expected, hey more time for an extra beer.“
“I went there on Thanksgiving day to a wonderful turkey dinner with all the fixings. I live alone and had nowhere to go and they readily accepted me to join in. Everyone is so nice, employees and patrons. Really enjoy the time there. Will be back!“

“Enjoyed a night here a few weeks ago with family. We were a bigger group (10 of us) and we didn't feel cramped. Great location.The night we went, there were only 2 bartenders who were also having to waitress. They definitely could have used some help. But our drinks kept us patient for the food. And they were doing the best they could running around all night. The kitchen is also a little slow but the food was good.So all in all, keep in mind the is a hangout spot. “This was our first time to visit this restaurant. Food is great! Refried beans and rice were kind of bland, but at least they didn't burn the tongue out of my wife's mouth. We have eaten at over three dozen Mexican restaurants in the San Antonio area and this one scores right up there with the best of them. One exceptional note for this restaurant: They have the best flour tortillas of any of the nearly 100 Mexican restaurants I've eaten in around the world. This restaurant is going to be one of our mainstays when we don't feel like cooking at home. One minor note of disappointment: We were not given chips and salsa when we were seated. Not a failure as many restaurants do not seem to know what chips are really great.“

“Excellent! We had fried mushrooms and onion rings as an appetizer and they were both fantastic! Mushrooms perfectly cooked and right size. Onion rings were thinly cut and nicely seasoned. I had the fried shrimp and fish plate and it was enough for two! 6 shrimp and three pieces of fish. My hubby had the chicken fried steak and it was a real chicken fried steak! Nice selection of drinks as well.“

“Just recently got back from a trip to Port Aransas and wanted to say how much we enjoyed Port A Beer Hut. Not only is the service outstanding (both the owner and the bartender were great), the atmosphere is fun and relaxing, the swings are a blast and the beer is great. We had to stop by every evening and were never disappointed. It is a wonderful stop in Port Aransas.“

He then asked if I was comfortable dressing up like Mr. Rogers, I obliged because I was thirsty. “Typical bar in Rockport. a DJ was playing known music. The service at the bar was efficient and the prices were very good. We didn't have any food. They have pool tables in the second room, which is a large space. There appeared to be a lot of locals here.“

“Wow I saw the other reviews scores. And the dozen times I have been in there it's been nothing but 5 stars. The problem is it's not some fancy yuppy bar. It's a place you wipe your feet when you leave, and you know what, it's a great feeling. It's old, rustic, low ceilings, and dark. When I say old, it's rustic old. Sure it smells like smoke and I help with that smoking my cigar Everytime I go. The girls working the bar are great. I say girls but let me correct that, they range in age from 30's to mid 60's and all have their own personality very fitting with the place. People are friendly they will chat with you if you like it or not. Ohh come in the back door, the front door is for the tourist. Ok that last part I made up, but really everyone uses the back door.“

“Not sure why this shows us as a sushi restaurant as there was no sushi on the menu. I would place it more online with being a seafood restaurant.Good food but almost felt overpriced for what it was. We were a group of six so we ordered three entrees and some appetizers and shared which worked well.“
“Aeriana provided excellent service and recommendations. I had the mushroom and black truffle ravioli pesto- the best ravioli I have EVER had. You must try the crème brulee - a light and refreshing dessert. The caramelized sugar with raspberries provided the perfect balance. Atmosphere was great, sat outside overlooking the water and were even able to have our little dog with us. If we ever go to this area again we will definitely stop in.“
