They were able to accommodate a last-minute reservation for around 35 people, and when we arrived the area was already cleared and prepared for us with staff on standby ready to assist. The food was absolutely amazing, and the customer service was top-notch—patient, courteous, and so attentive. I am beyond grateful for the wonderful service and experience we had celebrating such a special day. Thank you all for doing such an amazing job! Highly recommend!“

“This was an amazing place!!! The wifeski and I were celebrating our anniversary a couple weeks late and this was a great restaurant. It took a minute to adjust to the low lighting. However, the decor was nice, comfortable couches, chairs and lounge area. The drinks were great. I had an old fashion and children of the corn. We shared a salmon pincetta and I had the Filetto NWL as my entree. Both were spectacular! Eric Graham set the mood with great covera and some originals as well. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Any time a staff member came by they were always asking if we needed anything.“

But, not by the gorgeous views, the drinks or the puzzles.....We were blown away by Aly! She is a gem with a fantastic attitude, great information about the town and just a very genuine person! “I come here all the time and it’s honestly one of my favorite bars. The staff is usually amazing. I’ve never had a single issue with the door guys or any of the floor staff, and I’ve always felt comfortable going up to someone if there’s ever a problem.
But this past Saturday night, that completely changed. I was waiting outside the women’s restroom since there was a line inside the right-side bathrooms. While I was standing there, a girl who I thought was just another customer walked in ahead of me. When I followed behind assuming I was next, since I’d been waiting she immediately started being hostile.
I was honestly shocked. She told me I wasn’t waiting, that I needed to calm down, and that she worked there so she was going first. When I asked her name, she said it was Hannah. I immediately walked away from the bathrooms at that point not even handling business.
The whole situation was unnecessarily rude and embarrassing, especially in a place where I’ve always felt welcome. I don’t expect special treatment, but I do expect basic respect especially from someone representing the staff. I really hope management looks into it because I’d hate for this one encounter to happen again when another person walks in before Hannah. It was clear that I was waiting and she was simply rude for no reason.“

“We visited La Playa By The Bay for the first time. The music was 80th retro which was good. Staff were very nice. But when it comes to food, it was very disappointing. I ordered a fajitas taco with avocado. The lady asked me do you want lettuce, tomato and cheese. I never heard of a fajitas taco having lettuce and tomato. I told them all I want is fajitas and avocado. I get my taco and it’s a crispy fajitas taco. What the heck. I told the server this is not what I wanted. He brings me a flour tortilla that is hard as a rock. I get my ticket and they have charged me for cheese and substitute of beef fajitas instead of ground meat all at $2.00 a piece. I didn’t even get sliced fajitas, but probably about 5 little pieces of fajitas. I probably won’t order food there anymore. The music is great.“
