“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pep’s Mexican Steakhouse went above and beyond for my daughter’s 19th birthday! They were able to accommodate a last-minute reservation for around 35 people, and when we arrived the area was already cleared and prepared for us with staff on standby ready to assist. The food was absolutely amazing, and the customer service was top-notch—patient, courteous, and so attentive. I am beyond grateful for the wonderful service and experience we had celebrating such a special day. Thank you all for doing such an amazing job! Highly recommend!“

We didn’t have a good experience in the beginning with a different server and long waits and bad attitudes but the manager Liz came out from cooking in the back and offered to help Fix the situation! We got served quickly and with great attitudes from Marisol and Liz. Thanks ladies for making it a better time for us!“

“Portis Kountry Kitchen is hands-down one of the best spots for true Southern comfort food. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and fried to golden perfection—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The meatloaf was absolutely amazing—tender, flavorful, and smothered in just the right amount of sauce. Every bite felt like it was made with love. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home cooking, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“We stayed at the Doubletree from the 6th thru the 11th of Sept. Tim, Samantha, Chris the Cook were the most wonderful staff. They went above & beyond to make our visit top notch. We also had the pleasure to meet Jackie & Michael. They ALL WERE GREAT. They made sure we had everything we needed. The food was so good, we ate there for every meal except twice. Here today; gone TAMALE! Best tamales in town (so far). These sell out fast prior to holidays, especially Christmas. Regular pork are our favorites. Spicy are too hot. Just the perfect balance of masa & meat filling. Only tamales sold here (not a restaurant) & priced right. Sold by the dozen for pick up only.“

“During our return home, we decided to pass through Corpus Christi and stop for breakfast in continuation of my mom’s birthday weekend.
We happened upon this jewel of a place and was initially attracted to the view from the restaurant and the buffet/menu options.
We were seated fairly quickly in a private area inside of the restaurant, which had an amazing view of the water!
Gina immediately jumped into action serving us until our waiter could make it to our table. Needless to say…the waiter never made it.
Gina took on the role as the server and made our time there so special! She brought my mom a birthday gift from the Omni family…listened to every detail of the things we wanted and needed and executed it to perfection!!!! I CANNOT say enough about her! The food was amazing and all staff were friendly.
As a previous hospitality professional and my husband being a current hospitality professional, this is the type of warmth and service that needs to be copied and pasted every where. Gina is a jewel and I hope she is recognized for her service.“

“All my tenders were still pink inside so they weren't cooked all the way through but overall the experience was good. I also had a burger. Even though I said no mustard it still has mustard. But clearly off day in the kitchen I guess. Not knocking it. I'd try it again. Clean your tea nozzles.“
