“We love this place. Everytime we come to Port Aransas, we have to get the crab dip. Tonight we had dinner at the bar. Had clam chowder ( gotta have tabasco), a salad, and the fried fish (cod) and fries. A great atmosphere and just not the tourist element. On the bay with all the boats. Great family place. Enjoy!!!“
“Our family enjoyed a fantastic meal at Trout this week. We had 11 and were seated quickly and our server Julie was amazing. She took care of everyone’s order perfectly and offered up suggestions when asked. Great experience - definitely recommend!“
“A hidden, relaxed atmosphere. Open view of the pier and waterside homes. Great food with a simple selection. It's not overwhelming with decor. The patrons are regulars with a layed back attitude, enjoying the simple things in life. Laughter, beer, fishing, and sports.“
“This place is fantastic!! The food is great with a HUGE menu. The staff are fantastic!! 3 games of bingo every night 6, 7, 8, and no cost. The winner gets a $10.00 gift card. Darts, pool, outdoor patio. It's just an all-around great place. Stop in and check them out!! Family friendly, and very reasonable prices.“
“This was our first time to visit this restaurant. Food is great! Refried beans and rice were kind of bland, but at least they didn't burn the tongue out of my wife's mouth. We have eaten at over three dozen Mexican restaurants in the San Antonio area and this one scores right up there with the best of them. One exceptional note for this restaurant: They have the best flour tortillas of any of the nearly 100 Mexican restaurants I've eaten in around the world. This restaurant is going to be one of our mainstays when we don't feel like cooking at home. One minor note of disappointment: We were not given chips and salsa when we were seated. Not a failure as many restaurants do not seem to know what chips are really great.“
“The atmosphere was bright and very clean. Our server/ bartender was very friendly and helpful. We had a few drinks and dinner, everything was well made and tasty.Kid-friendliness: This is a bar with good food. Leave the kids at homeWheelchair accessibility: The parking lot and front side walk are a little rough but otherwise no major obstacles“
“Food is fantastic and despite not having a kids menu it is very kid friendly. Large outdoor space contains Jenga, giant connect four, corn hole and other toys for young kids. Inside has shuffle board and Mrs pacman/galliga that you can play for free.“
