“This place is a great place to escape. It’s relaxing, the staff is friendly, the bbq always taste on point, the buckets of beer are reasonably priced. If you can catch them on a Friday or Saturday your in for a treat of some live local music. Great place for families or friends to gather for lunch and a drink. “Went with friends visiting from Missouri while out exploring. It was not very busy, the weather was beautiful and we sat outside. The menu had some awesome looking offerings but we were not looking for a large meal. 3 of us had the Lobster Bisque and the other had the Truffle fries! The Bisque was fabulous! The fries were very good too but the soup was amazing!Our server was attentive and funny while being very professional. I wish I could remember her name to give her props because she was great!As a Winter Texan, we will be leaving soon but hope to get back to Tortuga’s before we leave to try other items on the menu. “This small dive bar is popular with locals and visitors as well. Live music, darts, indoor and outdoor seating. Love the pizza and an ice-cold bottle of Shiner Bock. The meatball sub looked amazing, I'll have to try it next time.The Gaff was our pick to visit this Thursday for Bike Night with The Outsiders Bike-Family and is always a good time.“

“Just made it in time to visit this location while we visit Rockport for the weekend. Although this place is a little hidden, it’s beautiful when you step inside and cozy (kinda like when you visit Grandma). The young lady who served us was super personable, polite, and very good with my little girl who was absolutely famished when we walked in lol“

“Jeff the bartender made me wait out back in the staff area when I asked for a beer. I obliged because I was thirsty. He then asked if I was comfortable dressing up like Mr. Rogers, I obliged because I was thirsty. He then brought me my beer and told me to clean myself up and look presentable to the regulars, he was so kind and made me feel welcome that I welcomed everyone to the neighborhood,and I just hope this becomes one of his shirts.Parking: Good parking.“

“Everything about this restaurant is excellent. The food is amazing - everything on the menu is homemade from the Caesar dressing to the sauces and pizza doughs. The service is impeccable. You feel like you're part of their family when you walk in the door. If I lived in Rockport, I'd make this a weekly visit. I will definitely come back every time I come to town now!“

“The pastries are so good! I got a raspberry turnover and it was flakey, sweet and delicious. Others in my party got cupcakes and cinnamon rolls. They heated the cinnamon rolls up for us and they were delicious too. Some tables inside. Staff was great.“

Helped us with our questions and made recommendations. I had the Cotton Candy Hawaiian Style with Coconut Cream one day and the Pina Colada dressed up the same another day and tomorrow part of our check out checklist is to stop and grab one on the way out! Every bit of me feels like a kid again when I can just enjoy something so deliciously yummy!“

“We had a great wine tasting here! Delicious, reasonably priced, and came with souvenir glasses. They also ship around the country, which is what I'll be doing so I didn't have to fly with a suitcase full of wine. The owners were very friendly, and we're definitely coming back the next time we're in town!“

“Our friends made reservations about a week in advance so we were seated immediately. I believe it's the best plan since the restaurant was pretty full.The service was very good, our drinks were monitored often. Our orders were prepared very well and in a timely manner. Several of us ordered the soup option with our entree, we all commented that it was a good choice.I ordered the lasagna, it's a personal favorite and I'm very choosy, this one certainly met my expectations. The spaghetti and meatballs was also a table favorite. The portions were generous as we all had to go boxes. I recommend this restaurant and, other than it's suggested to make reservations, I would likely go back.“

“We sat outside and didn’t wait long for our waitress who was very friendly with a great attitude. She was helpful and attentive. My husband and I both had the Mahi Mahi his with rice pilaf and mine with the asparagus. Both were excellent. I enjoyed sitting outside while the sun started to set. A definite must do again!“
