“Our party of four ate here on a recent visit to Rockport. It is a lovely restaurant with a view of the water, and is filled with works by local artists. The food, service and staff are outstanding. It is one of the highlights of our trip. Be sure to try the Oysters Gilroy or the Shrimp Gilroy (or both)!“

“A pleasant surprise. The staff was genuinely welcoming, the service was warm, and the food was quite good. The location is cozy, quiet, and overlooks the marina, making for a relaxing dinner. After five days along the Texas Gulf Coast, this was one of only two restaurants I’d happily return to, the other being in Rockport. If you’re looking for a solid meal in the area, this is a safe bet.“

“This was absolutely 1 of the most charming and unique places my wife and I have ever stayed. This just might be the the premium location on the water on the Texas gulf coast.
The room was clean as anything I've ever seen. Well appointed with a super comfortable bed. The host was very gracious and left us complete privacy which we enjoyed on our 25th Anniversary.“

“Virginia's was one of my first stops as soon as I arrived! I HIGHLY recommend the Yellowfin Tuna from the appetizers menu! I went twice during this visit and brought some home with me!!! I have loved this ever since I tried it years ago. Great job Virginia's!!!“
