“My wife and I have visited 3 times. I usually don't order gumbo in CC, because no retaurants make it correctly. However, after living here for 10 yrs, I can finally say I ate some real gumbo at a CC restaurant. All 3 visits have been superb!“

Chef Tony absolutely killed it everything I ordered was delicious and I ate like a king in my hotel room all week for much cheaper than going out to eat everyday. 100% will be ordering again the next time I’m in town!!“

Got the Coastal Loaded with the original seasoning (Old Bay) and original butter, so it wasn’t spicy just like how I like it. We also got the Coastal Loaded with the Cajun seasoning and spicy butter and it was spicy. So good. The cashier/waitress was so friendly and very welcoming. Would go again without a doubt.“

“My first time coming to Corpus Christi, Texas I was looking for a nice place to have dinner. I saw U & I Steak and Seafood online and saw some really great food . I called and spoke with Tori. “If you’re a fan of hush puppies! Catfish Charlie’s has the best in town! Oh and the catfish is delicious too! But you also have to have their in house made gumbo! It’s to die for! They don’t have a bad dish on the menu! Try them once, and I promise you’ll be back again!“

“We were on vacation when the Surfing Crab was recommended to us for great seafood meal. We went on our second night of vacation. We decided on the snow crab and shrimp which came with corn, potatoes and sausage with the Surfing Crab house seasoning. It was delicious. Our waitress answered every question we had and was very attentive. The manager came around twice and the assistant manager came around once to talk and check on us. I spilt my drink and even the clean up crew was there immediately and were very polite. We highly recommend and if we are ever back in town we will surely eat there again.“

“My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Railroad Seafood and Brewery in Corpus Christi last Saturday. I had grilled shrimp and the fish and shrimp platter. The drum was so good. Karen was our waitress and was very kind and efficient. We will ask for her whenever we eat here.“

“Don't let the size or the area fool you, the shrimp cocktail was on point. One of the best places in CC that I've had in my opinion. Love how they added fresh chopped jalapeño on the side so I could spice it up to my liking. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this establishment. Plan to return in the near future as a regular when I'm craving a SC. Also, I tried their hot sauce for the first time and maaaaannnnnn they need to sell that in stores!!!! Freaking A1!!!! We plan to ask if they sell it by the bottle lol. Must ask about it if you like spicy stuff.“

It’s clear the team is putting in serious effort to turn things around and make a strong impression. If I had one small piece of feedback, it would be to consider adding a few more servers or lightening the table load a bit — our server did an amazing job, but was definitely stretched thin.
