“I flew into town for a week and pre ordered meals to avoid fast food places while in town and I’m very happy I did!!! Chef Tony absolutely killed it everything I ordered was delicious and I ate like a king in my hotel room all week for much cheaper than going out to eat everyday. 100% will be ordering again the next time I’m in town!!“

Got the Coastal Loaded with the original seasoning (Old Bay) and original butter, so it wasn’t spicy just like how I like it. We also got the Coastal Loaded with the Cajun seasoning and spicy butter and it was spicy. So good. The cashier/waitress was so friendly and very welcoming. Would go again without a doubt.“

It’s clear the team is putting in serious effort to turn things around and make a strong impression. When I got to my aunt's house, I found she had added more fish, sopapillas and cherry pies to my order. Thank you, Marie. The food was delicious. I will come by each time I come down from Austin. “We were on vacation when the Surfing Crab was recommended to us for great seafood meal. We went on our second night of vacation. We decided on the snow crab and shrimp which came with corn, potatoes and sausage with the Surfing Crab house seasoning. It was delicious. Our waitress answered every question we had and was very attentive. The manager came around twice and the assistant manager came around once to talk and check on us. I spilt my drink and even the clean up crew was there immediately and were very polite. We highly recommend and if we are ever back in town we will surely eat there again.“

“This is becoming an annual tradition. This year Railroad was super busy, staff were apologetic and it was understandable as they provided parking for an event down the street. Service was a bit slow at taking our order initially but the food came out in no time. We sat outside in patio which helped kids be distracted and around 9pm, on 7/3/26, Corpus lit some fireworks by the bridge which was nice to watch while having dinner.“

“We were here the week before Labor Day last year, in 2024. It was our 1st time in Corpus Christi and we just happened to see it from the bridge and decided to try it out. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the view was amazing! Out of all the restaurants we tried while we were there, Doc’s had the best food! We fell in love with Corpus Christi and Doc’s is definitely on our to do list the next time we come back!“

“Don't let the size or the area fool you, the shrimp cocktail was on point. One of the best places in CC that I've had in my opinion. Love how they added fresh chopped jalapeño on the side so I could spice it up to my liking. Absolutely nothing bad to say about this establishment. Plan to return in the near future as a regular when I'm craving a SC. Also, I tried their hot sauce for the first time and maaaaannnnnn they need to sell that in stores!!!! Freaking A1!!!! “Owner truly cares about the safety & concerns of his community, patrons, staff and bands. Door guys are always welcoming & greet everyone with a great attitude but they also stand ten toes on business. Lots of great friends of mine in bands play here a lot and it’s always a blast & a place close to home to go & support. There’s a time and place for drama but not here. Check it at the door. Eat their food, tip your bartenders who serve up tirelessly and work hard, respect the space and platform you’re given if you are in a band and remember, if you’re the one booking bands from out of town to play here, let’s all represent accordingly and respectfully for this place and what they have to offer for people and everyone else on all spectrums of the scenes. Music lovers, foodies, stoners, drunks, sober people, everyone is welcome. Let’s continue to keep this space open and fun for EVERYONE. The staff and door guys are openly available if you have safety concerns or issues about any individuals in which they do in fact escalate to the owner if needed. “After reading the most recent reviews for some other nearby sushi restaurants, we decided to visit Island Time Sushi. I’m so glad we did! We chose this place because we decided that possible long wait times and/or slow service outweighed some of the scarier reviews found at higher rated nearby sushi restaurants (click on some & sort by newest reviews, you’ll see what I mean).
We were a party of 4 who had drinks, appetizers, 7 sushi rolls, and dessert for around $150 total. We weren’t aware Monday was half-off some rolls, that was a nice surprise! Yes, our server disappeared for 10-15 mins at a time but we expected that going in. We were happy that drinks & hot appetizers came quickly. The sushi was worth the wait. Everything was delicious & beautifully arranged! We were there for about 90 mins total, not too bad. Owner (I think) was super nice & made the table-side bananas foster himself. We definitely recommend & would visit again next time we are in the area.
The only feedback I would give to management is to assign tables in sections so servers are in one general area instead of spread out; that should improve server visibility for guests. Also, invest in a soda gun. Bottled soda over ice tends to taste flat.“
