“Sushi is delicious and healthy, and every bite is memorable. Your sushi is great! Each piece of sushi shows your exquisite skills and careful production, making people feel the perfect combination of deliciousness and art. Thank you for bringing us such a wonderful taste experience. Looking forward to the next taste!“
“As far as the service rating it's based on our server: Letty, she's awesome, very attentive and professional and friendly, we always request Letty. We have had another server and that experience was very bad, she was forgetful, took forever to bring us napkins and got our order wrong. So if you do come to eat here make sure you request Letty, she will take great care of you and make sure that your eating experience is perfect. Now as far as the food... The salsas are great, the chicken quesadillas are great when they are made correctly, there have been a couple of times that I order them, but they did not put enough cheese or chicken in the quesadillas. We have ordered a few of the other plates and they are good. Really the only reason I placed this review is because I wanted to give Letty a 5 star review for her service, she truly deserves it. Great job Letty (now we just need to get her schedule so we know when to come eat here to get great service). Otherwise the food is good as long as the consistency is constant, which on since plates it's not.“
“The fish shrimp and oyster basket was delicious as the onion rings were good. Calamari was a little chewy but good. My mom ordered the shrimp basket she liked it as well. My husband ordered the fish tacos the picture on the menu does not justice the tacos are huge he ordered the blackened fish I believe is what it was called he loved it. He even ordered a fried fish taco because he thought the tacos were small they were delicious. The pirates soup was good it had sausage flavor and tomatoe based it was good I couldn’t really taste sea food. I didn’t take pictures because we were exhausted from the beach but this is a place I will return to when in corpus.“
“As an out of towner, going to recommended restaurants is always a mixed bag. However, this was a wonderful suggestion. This restaurant is not part of the mainstream tourist venue. It is on a side of town that is part industrial and residential. That being said the bells and whistles were off but the food was definitely on. Three of us ordered the fried oysters and I assure you that I have never had oysters as delicious as these. They were simply fried but they were very meaty and the consistency was all throughout the batter. They melted in your mouth and at the end of it all, it left us all wishing we'd ordered two dinners. Not because the amount wasn't generous, because it most definitely was, but it was because they were prepared to please the customer. The service was great as we were immediately met by hostesses who were very patient with us as we reviewed the menu. I'll be sure to visit this place again when I return to the Corpus area. Great job guys! Thanks for an excellent meal.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible right outside the front door.“
“I am amazed , Spring Break, and we had a wonderful lunch somewhere that was not in the least bit crowded . In fact , I had the whole place except for 1 table that left soon after we arrived. They had a few people at the bar. I had a cup of crab soup , and it was delicious. My main meal was the pasta salad with some garlic bread. Next time, I will add chicken or pepperoni. Our server was very nice.“
“In my first review (below), I said we would be back and we were. Again we shared the ceviche for appetizer, and then ordered two of the daily specials. The grilled Mahi with lemon-dill aeoli and roasted corn salsa got very high marks from our table. The Pina colada drizzled red fish with mango salsa was quite unlike any dish I've had before and a real winner. Both were served with rice and grilled veggies. Service was again extremely good and very personable. Very high marks on the food. And yes, we will return. I've attached photos of the entrees.----We shared the shrimp and scallop seviche appetizer and had the salmon caprese and mahi-mahi alto cocina with no special sauce for our entrees. The seviche was very nicely prepared and an ample helping served with homemade tortilla chips. A really nice blend of seafood, avocado with just the right amount of lime and in-rhe-background spicyiness. We are really glad we ordered this. Both entrees were really excellent with the fish perfectly cooked and both served with rice and their veggie of the day. Nicely done!BTW- the complementary homemade potato chips were also a hit at our table.Service was really good. We will be back to try your other dishes!“
“Ate all the oysters at the bar. Happy hour has half priced raw oysters, but not the cooked ones... The normal flavors were very good but the blue cheese and pecan fried have to be tried! The only down side was that the oysters were quite small and the portions for the cooked oysters were very small for the price. I did enjoy it but would not return because of the poor value.Parking: Parking is hard around here. Too many venues and not much parking.“
“Well I was not sure about little chickens so I didn’t try them but I did try the Korean wings and OMG they are so crunchy and perfect on the inside. Flavor was on point. My family also ordered the lomein and fried rice and both were very good. Over all the meal was beyond expectations and we will definitely order from this place again. Give them a try they won’t disappoint just be patient because everything is cooked when ordered.“
“The food is excellent!!! The owner Ben is fantastic, the employees are friendly.Ask to say hello to Ben, he is certainly hospitable.I used to go to Joe's' but the food and service is terrible. Location can't do justice for the cost of the food.Surfing Crab all the way ❤️❤️❤️❤️Vegetarian options: You can request vegetarian. The owner was very accommodating to my diet restrictions.Parking: Lots free of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes! The restaurant is one floor which makes it easier for wheelchairs.“
“Super unassuming establishment; however, this place was awesome! There is a really big dive bar atmosphere if you're into that kind of thing. Dimly lit, pool table, small stage for live bands on the weekend. When I came in, there were 10 ladies and gentlemen having an 8-ball pool tournament which added immensely to the ambiance. The food here was incredible. I ordered the voodoo burger and bacon wrapped shrimp. I was blown away by the high quality of food in such a dingy looking place. I'll definitely be returning any chance I get. This is a hidden gem for sure.“
“Nice little restaurant. Bar available. Friendly service. They have a happy hour menu. We had their fried gyoza and edamame with garlic and black truffle salt - both were delicious! We, also, had 3 of their rolls - each of them were spectacular.“
“My favorite is the fried fish po-boy and the hushpuppies. The chicken fried steak was delicious too! I really enjoyed the band and you can't beat that bay view. After dinner we enjoy watching the cats gather 'round when its time to clean the fish at the nearby shack. That dude's a pro!!“
“We were on a recent vacation in Corpus Christi. This restaurant listed in top 10 of Corpus Christi. We chose an early evening/ late afternoon meal. This is not TexMex, but features traditional Mexican food from Mexico. Restaurant is located in a strip mall and not very big. I felt I was at a fine dining experience. Lovely restaurant and wonderful ambience. Service was excellent and personal. Our server suggested a selection that allowed a tasting of more than one item. We could select two items, our choice of type of tortillas and either black beans or charro beans. Rice came with the meal also. We were also given a soup in this selection or we could select another soup for a slight increase in price. I couldn't find this on the menu online to describe better. We were there at 4:00 pm and perhaps it was a lunch offering. Our individual meal selections were around $12.99/person. Three sauces were served on the table with our meal....a red sauce, a verde sauce and a habanero sauce. All were delicious. We opted for a tortilla soup and a poblano soup and although the entire meal was unbelievably delicious, these 2 soups were outstanding and so delicious we couldn't put them down!! We did order dessert which was the only thing disappointing about our meal. They were out of flan. I ordered a tres leches which was a cuatro leches on their menu. My friend ordered pineapple upside down cake. They were both very dry and not that great. Forget dessert. I highly recommend this traditional Mexican restaurant. Food, ambience and service were outstanding!! Go if you are in Corpus Christi!“
“If you love music anything before the 2000s, this is the place to go to see memorabilia, autographs of old school rock music. This place is like a hidden gem. The food is fresh, and the portions are huge. I believe it is family owed and operated. I like it because the owners connect better with the customers. The establishment is very clean. We will be returning back soon.Wheelchair accessibility: The business is even leveled, and they do have disabled parking.“
“OMG! OMG! OMG! The best fresh seafood in town. Not frozen?. From seating to ordering to receiving to eating, was exceptional! Mia was great. We had the ceviche appetizer, Rockefeller, oysters, chicken and shrimp alfredo, the blue Cove mahi, Chicken and avocado and lets not forget the dessert brownie à la mode!Total bill $135! Well worth it?“
“I went to Joe’s Crab Shack two days in a row. I sat at the bar again and Montana was my bartender. She was very friendly and attentive. She made sure I had everything I needed before I got my food. The manager also came by to check on me. I love the whole vibe there. I love the volume of the music and the music they play. The food was also good. It came out at the right temperature and was seasoned well. My whole experience was great. Montana was so sweet and friendly. She made me feel at home. Keep up the great work! I’ll definitely be back again! ?“
“Alrighty, so I went into this place the other day. Just to try it out. Wow, wow, wow, great job guys, good food, good atmosphere.Vegetarian options: I'm saying that they had a water fountain for the vegans. And maybe 50 packets to ketchupKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly“
“Great value for the amount of food. Catfish could have been better, but that is not the cook sometimes. But the catfish, shrimp, froglegs, coleslaw, beans, and huushpuppies for $19 was exceptionally good. Definitely coming back to this gem!“
“December 2023Quick and really good, I heard it was good and sometimes would see it get super packed. I met Mr. Hornsby himself nice dude. Fish was piping hot and fresh tasting. Shrimp was fresh too and tasted good. Tartar sauce and fries were good too! Definitely recommend. It was dead on Wednesday but was worth it. Canned sodas are a dollar.“
“We were not disappointed stopping here for the first time ever. The atmosphere was lively. The staff very professional and though they were very busy. We were seated after a very short wait. The food was amazing. We left full and satisfied. We will definitely be back on our next trip. Please bring a marker to add your name to the many names all over the restaurant walls. Amazing!Vegetarian options: They have salads and other options that are sure to please.Kid-friendliness: Many families here.Wheelchair accessibility: Should not be an issue. Easy access in the restaurant.“
“We initially were hesitant to eat here because it looked more like a fast food place than a sit down restaurant (it has a drive up window), but I'm glad we took the chance. This is basic Tex-Mex but it was very good and very filling. We both had beef enchiladas and they were as cheesy and greasy as you'd imagine. We also tried the house margaritas which were fairly strong, but it was obvious they used a mixer rather than real lime juice. They tasted a lot like kool-aid! Overall, we were satisfied and would go back if we were in town again.“
“This is one busy place but we were tickled pink when our orders were ready in less than 5 minutes. I kid you not. I had just placed the order, paid for it, and as I was rounding the curve to go and get plastic forks and napkins, my name was called. Yes the food was fresh. I thought they had made a mistake but did not. The little cutie who was taking the order was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very patient as we looked over it. We got the order to go but decided to sit outside overlooking the bay. It was around 5:00 on a Friday and man it was packed but again service was quick and seating was plentiful. All of the hostesses were uniformed and professional. You can tell that Snoopy employees are used to dealing with a large crowd so they were fast-paced and prepared to service their customers. Two thumbs up! ????.....ok, I'll Make it five!??????????? Oh yeah I forgot to mention that there is a little trolley or train that will take you right up to the door. So if you park far away, the trolley will pick you up. That was nice considering that I did not have on very comfortable shoes.“
“Staff was excellently knowledgeable and skilled with cocktails and food, also friendly and laid back. The drinks were most definitely the best in town. The atmosphere is uniquely nautical. It felt like a true old world Captain's Cabin. Great view as well day or night with outdoor dining deck.“
“Went to pompanos on a wednesday and enjoyed their special extended happy hours for the day. The menu had a wide variety to choose from, as well as their cocktail menu. I will say, it would be nice if they partnered up with local breweries to have on tap such as Nueces or Rebel Toad for example. The beer glasses were extra cold and icy to the touch. The appetizers were very tasty, I tried the gator bites and the black mussels. There wasn’t much service provided, but the bartender was very friendly and attentive when available. I can’t see why I wouldn’t return.“
“This was the first time going to eat here. On a Saturday night, we had a party of 8 and were quickly seated, after a warm greeting! The food came out as ordered, quickly and Hot! The service was Awesome and everything was reasonably priced. I Definitely recommend this restaurant to locals and visitors!“
“Decided to come here on a whim on our way back from a fishing trip. The food was delicious! We had the lomo saltado, ceviche peruano, and grilled cheese sandwiches (for the kids). The flavors were authentic and everything was super tasty. The only downside was that we had to wait 30+ minutes for our order, but in the end it was worth it because we were very satisfied with the food (maybe the wait was because we came in at an off time in the afternoon around 3 PM). Highly recommend you give this place a try!“
“We have eaten at Nolan's multiple times over the past several years while visiting family. This place is a staple for us because of the quality, variety, and price of the food. The salads are fresh with homemade dressing. The meals are perfectly prepared to taste. The only reason for a four star is that I give out five star reviews only for exceptional, exceptional places.“
“Delicious food for more than reasonable prices! The restaurant walls are super cute inside too. I had the Diablitos Rancheros - bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with jalapeno and cheese, rice, beans, and lettuce. Portion was generous for a great price, and the dish came out looking as advertised on the menu!“
“Came to corpus for the weekend from Houston and looking for a place to have dinner .Found this small place !Every thing was freshly made !!!!The hostess and waitress were so attentive with us since we walked in ! The food was so delicious and drinks on point !Thank you ?“
“Got there Thursday a little after 5, for dinner and craft beer. Sat at the bar. The bartender Cora was excellent. Came by often enough that my water class was never empty, but not so often that it was annoying.Shrimp app, mahi dinner were both great. I'd go back for the food. There was a nice selection of draft beer available. I only tried one house beer, the black IPA. It was nothing special. The other beers were ok. I would not go back for the beer. The only real problem was how long it took to get my food. The place wasn't that crowded, but it took well over a half hour to just get my appetizer. Dinner followed quickly after that, though.“
“Honestly, my favorite taco spot since it opened up. I love the homemade tortillas and the size of the tacos. They've never gotten my order wrong once. They have excellent customer service and let's not forget to mention that lemonade!“
“Today is 11/11/23 being that it’s my very very first time iam so impressed with thier food I ordered shrimp/fries and omg ivan Honestly say it was so so so good thier Tartar sauce it’s to die for loved it I been here in corpus for 22 yrs and it just neverd ever caught my attention but for some reason today I wanted some fried breaded shrimp so I stopped by and I don’t regret it at all I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat good shrimpParking: Like how they direct you to a space“
“I recently celebrated my 25th Wedding anniversary and reserved the room upstairs. Everything was perfect from the waitstaff to the delicious food!! Kay was so awesome and answered all my questions very quickly and she is super nice! Rudy and Jalissa were some of the best people ever!! They made our day feel so special!! Thank you to everyone involved!! Yay Landry's ?“
“P.O.E.T.S Corpus Christi TexasNative northern Missouri here. I moved to south Texas in 2012 and miss tenderloins! Someone suggested a little restaurant here in Corpus Christi that I have never been and they did in fact have the amazing sandwich! I would give it an 8/10 ONLY because of 3 things….the breading wasn’t what I am used to (I always had the crushed cracker breading), the size of the loin and type of bun was a sweet bun and not toasted. other then that, it was very flavorful and juicy! Would recommend and will be back! But all in all, the restaurant itself gets a full 10/10. They were very busy with a wedding party but everyone still had a great vibe and was super nice and patient!“
“This restaurant is open to the air and part of the seating is on a boat, so views are interesting of the water and other cruise-worthy vessels. We enjoyed ourselves at this lunch spot! The service was excellent, checking on us every few minutes to make sure we had what we needed, and friendly! The food was great with large portions to take some home and delicious sauce and tea. I recommend the lobster bisque and coconut shrimp, both excellent. Even a couple grackles made their way in and fearlessly circled the tables, entertaining us with rivalrous arguments over which one got a scrap on the floor. They do ask that you don't feed them directly.Lastly, on the way out there is a boutique, with charming and interesting gifts and wares to look at and buy that I haven't seen anywhere else in Corpus Christi or Padre Island yet. After we enjoyed a walk on the seawall, it was a beautiful day!“
“We had a small birthday celebration there tonight. Our waiter, Cody, gave us superb service. He anticipated our wants. He made sure we had everything we needed. Everyone there helped make it a wonderful experience. Food was delicious. Intend on going again.“
“Authentic Mexican style seafood that includes a variety of fried fish shrimp American style as well. Drinks are excellent. Customer service is superb. Cleanliness is better than what we can imagine. the ambience is great very very family oriented. Great place to visit when you come to Corpus Christi.“
“The food was good. The burger was the best part the bacon and cheese was on point and I like the buns. The side salad was very fresh and I enjoyed it. I disliked the girl who took my order, she did not take the order correctly, but when I received my order the guy corrected it and he was apologetic.“
“I haven't had fried flounder w/boudin balls like that in a very long time. Unless I cook it myself. Definitely taste better when you can find an establishment where you can go and the food is pretty damn good. The service was excellent, and it didn't wait long. The food came out hot and fresh. Definitely could tell the flounder and shrimp were cooked in fresh grease. My own personal opinion. I would remove the air freshener. That didn't sit well. The fragrance was extremely strong. Ended up eating in the car.Although, I would definitely recommend Red Boat to friends and family. Keep being great????“
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We used the Sushi Loft for a Wedding Anniversary gathering, and this place exceeded our expectations! Everything was very clean, and the service was amazing with no flaws or delays despite having a party of 20! Alyssa, our waitress was just the greatest!!!! She was very kind and patient, and very very helpful! We were able to put little decorations on the table, making it even more personal for our event! The drinks and food were fantastic! Michele made sure to answer all of our questions prior to our event and she was very informative on everything! We will definitely reserve this place for future events!!!!“
“First time here, visiting Corpus. Food was good, ordered mahi-mahi and red fish, both dishes were a bit on the salty side. Just an advice if you want to order the sauce on the side or easy salt. That was the only downside of my experience. We’ll come back to try again for sure.“
“This restaurant is a favorite of mine for Cajun food in Corpus Christ! I have been twice in the last week and am craving the food again this Monday. Ate at my first RAZOO'S in Arlington, Texas 20 years back, and the food is just a good today as then. Also, the service is great! Our server, Alexis U was great and enjoyable to talk too. A great place to EAT!“
