“I recently tried the gizzards from Pete’s Chicken, and they were so good! They were cooked just right, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with really great flavor in every bite. You can tell they were made fresh and seasoned well. I also noticed the batter is lighter compared to the gizzards from Chicken Express, which made them feel less heavy but still really satisfying. Definitely hit the spot if you’re craving good comfort food. I would definitely recommend giving them a try if you’re in the mood for some good comfort food.“

“Such a wonderful experience. I had a large catering order and they were wonderful! I was absolutely blown away at the ease of things. I was worried about timing & as I walked into the location, they were ready to walk me to my car with all the meals , which is what I specifically asked for. I wanted to show up, pay, & leave due to traveling with the meals. When I arrived they assured me everything was included and they even provided me with a complimentary drink. They young ladies were also so sweet!!“

“I don't usually come here due to it, just not being good. But today I was in the area and really hungry and wanted chicken, so I decided to give it a chance again. And today 03/21/2025 around 730 pm we got our food and came home to eat. I don't know who was doing the chicken around that time, but they deserve a raise. It was fresh, on point with flavor, cooked just right. And whoever did the fries today, the amount of salt they used was just right. Thanks to them. My family and I will be returning again.“

“This is a great group of people working together as a team the only reason I gave 3 stars for atmosphere is because it was so cold I had to take my food and eat in the car but they are running around working so hard and fast I would need it cold in there too so not a big deal really. The mngr brought them from another location. Okay. Paid, was asked to pull up. 20 mn later I went in and asked what was the delay. They were waiting for chicken to cook. I was the only one in line when I arrived. This location has issues like this every time. There's no hustle.“

I was very impressed, first of all, the lobby is very clean, I received the best customer service from the employees, once I tried the chicken, I was hooked! The manager there named ROB was a super nice guy and his team seemed to follow his lead. They were working as a team and everyone had a smile on their face. Great job guys! I hope he gets some sort of recognition as I'm a mom of a soldier and many times have left my wallet with personal items/ picture of my son behind and if it had been that reason for the call I honestly don't know if I wouldve ever got my items returned due to lack of communication from another location. “Stop here on our way out of Corpus Christi back to San Antonio. Chicken and sides were fresh and tasted good. Inly issue we had was with the onion rings. Seems like they didnt put enough batter on them and they tasted a little off. Other than that, everything was great!“
