“Don’t be fooled by the outside (or the inside) when you walk in… This was a fantastic seafood meal. I have to admit, I almost thought about walking out when I was first seated because it didn’t look like much of anything on the inside, including no bar area: traveling alone on business, I usually just cozy up to a bar in a corner and enjoy a beer or two and watch whatever ballgame might be on TV while I have my meal. in this case, I was seated at a booth adjoining another booth of three older, very loud patrons that kept me from having a peaceful meal. There were two TVs in opposite corners of the dining area, and I couldn’t hear or really see either one of them well. The dining area was rather cavernous, and all seating for this Thursday evening was limited to the middle part of the restaurant.Service was quick, and I really wanted a beer, but there were no draft options (and no craft options, just the usual domestic caps), so I settled for a water. When the server came back, I asked about the seafood Po’boy, and she told me that she’d never seen anyone actually order one. I asked her what people usually get, and she mentioned a few of the combo plates, but I really didn’t want a fried fish unless I could have it in a sandwich… so I ordered the blackened red snapper with shrimp étouffée, with a baked potato and grilled veggies on the side, and a side of coleslaw.It may have been one of the best fish dishes I’ve ever had, the étouffée was perfect. Even the baked potato, just with butter and sour cream, was perfectly cooked, very soft. The coleslaw was also outstanding. It was all a very generous portion, well worth a $20.99 price.Based on the food alone, I would definitely come back to this place. It was recommended by my hotel, and worth the 10-minute drive to get there.“
“Randomly stopped at this place with my wife and daughter on a road trip from Houston to Laredo. Wasn’t expecting the best seafood because of location in Texas, but we were both pleasantly surprised. Food was great. We got the ceviche and shrimp tacos. Both were excellent. Staff was attentive and pleasant. Could see this being a cool spot to grab and beer and hang out at night if you’re local.“

“Really good food, I have always enjoyed the fried rice, catfish and or fried shrimp.Tonight I had the Pho with chicken. It was really good, I am really picky about my Pho and this was good. The broth is beef but it seemed to go with the chicken.I will be back for more! They are a on the pricey side but who isn’t these days“

“Awesome food. Great friendly service. Very clean all around. Only complaint was the tea was so sweet it was like candy. Easy fix is to order half and half tea if you want it sweet and if like me who orders half and half anyway, order 1/4 sweet 3/4 unsweet. My wife and I will most definitely be coming again.“

“Best place to get your cheddar biscuits in Victoria!Located outside the Victoria Mall, this is a staple of the seafood chain restaurants. They have daily specials and a sizable kids menu. Great for families. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Ample free parking lot. Normally has lobsters in the tank but was empty during my trip. The best part are the cheddar biscuits, which come out nice and hot.Parking: Has large outdoor parking lot.
