This is one of many establishments that my family checked out during our stay in Port Aransas and this one left us somewhat frustrated and disappointed. The food was mediocre. If it wasn’t for all the decor all over the walls this restaurant wouldn’t have much going for it. On a Wednesday morning it took about 40 minutes to be seated, took another 10 minutes for anyone to come greet us and take our drink order and it took longer than it should’ve to ask for a refill or address an issue because they rarely lifted their heads to observe their tables. Friendly staff but they lacked efficiency. The system they used to operate the flow of the restaurant seemed unorganized. Quality & attentiveness was rated on the poor side.

Fun place for breakfast. The Coach's one egg/bacon/hash rows and toast is a great deal - $5. Just the right size for us old guys.
Was a place recommended to us for "the best breakfast" on the Island. We arrived at 8:30 on Sunday- When we walked inside, no one was at the "wait to be seated"'sign, we noticed people to our left, so we got in line behind them after asking if they were waiting (and 2 other parties came after us and joined the wait line after they asked us if it was the line). There were 3 visible employees in uniform behind the back counter- 1 eating, 1- acting as cashier and 1-(not sure). No one was greeting or giving direction to those entering. When we joined the line, there were at least 4 dirty tables, 1 large party of 8 that only had menus (and were making comments loudly about wait time), another party of 3 again, with only menus, 2 tables had people starring at the back counter, 2 men were eating at the back counter. A 4th employee (we think) but was not in uniform started clearing a table. We watched the lady that had walked in just before us, skip the wait line and just sat down at a dirty table (the couple before us who had been waiting awhile were not happy). We waited for about 10 more minutes and when the couple in front of us had still not been seated, we decided to leave- It may have had good food? With the lack of urgency shown by the 3 behind the back counter, we weren't willing to stick around to find out. Did like the Sports Themed decor. Maybe will try again in the future? Not a great first impression, so can't be sure.
