JUST WOW!! The service, the food, the vibe, the location. All of it. 10/5 stars. Our waiter - I feel terrible I forgot his name - treated every table like they were the only ones there. The service there was better than the food to be honest. I wish I knew our servers name but we went for my daughter's 16th birthday and all got the Hungry Cajun and 4 orders was more than enough! And since it was my daughter's birthday, the server bought her a shirt. I am so thankful. And we all loved using the hammer! Thank you for a wonderful wonderful dinner to celebrate our daughter. The key lime for dessert was out of this world! Amazing! 100 stars!!!

Great place abot great service but on the high side for what you get. Was here during off season and was open when others closed early. Food was great. Had the hungry cajun.

Try to go every year we're in Port A. A week every time in October for our anniversary. In 6 years we've yet to find this place open. Sad because we're dying to go.

The Crazy Cajun ruined my vacation.
I came here with my family a week ago for my sister’s 20th birthday because she had been asking for a seafood boil for a while, and this place happened to be right up the road from where we were staying. We arrived mid-day. The workers were just average — not amazing, not terrible. We got seated and served pretty quickly.

I ordered “The Hungry Cajun,” and it was disappointing from the start. The shrimp was cold, the butter dipping sauce was so salty you could literally feel the grittiness in your teeth, they hand you this little wooden hammer to crack the crab legs (which does absolutely nothing), and the sausage tasted old and gross. The only good parts were the corn and potatoes.

A few hours after eating, I started getting terrible stomach cramps, followed by half an hour of dry heaving. The rest of the night I didn’t sleep — I was up five or six times running to the bathroom to vomit. I ended up needing a prescription for Zofran because I physically couldn’t stop throwing up. I spent my entire vacation sick and lying down instead of celebrating a birthday.

Two days later, I was still sick — still cramping, still nauseous, with constant saliva buildup and stomach pain. Then I started passing black material and orange mucus. Days 3 through 7 after eating here, I couldn’t go to the bathroom at all. I just now was finally able to today.

I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. The Crazy Cajun? More like the Crazy Mistake. Please, eat anywhere else — do not risk it.

The bread was good. We asked for The Crazy Cajun. We did not realize it had pork sausage. They kindly took it back and swore they would make it without sausage and that all bowls are made in separate pots. They brought a new one out and it had sausage in it again. All they did was take out the sausage and bring back the bowl. Unacceptable.

Finally tried The Crazy Cajun and it was worth it! It was Sat evening about 6:30 and we were seated fast. Robert, our waiter was amazing! Super nice and gave us a breakdown of the menu. Loved the food being poured onto the table! Everything was prepared perfectly. MAJOR like: guy behind us playing music on phone loud and Robert asked him to turn it down! Thanks Robert for reminding people about manners!

Restaurant was busy when we were seated. Our server was prompt with our drinks and food. Ordered their Hungry Cajun boil. Lots of food and a fair price. Food is delicious. They even sell their house blend Cajun spice.

We were seated, and sat… and sat… and sat for 10 minutes without any staff acknowledging us. We watched people who came in after us get drinks and place orders. We got up and left and the hostess just said “sorry” without attempting to correct. Called the manager later and he said “sorry, I will talk to your waiter”.
