When we arrived it was PACKED!!! The wait was 30mins. We chose to not wait and sit at the bar. Our bartender was freaking great! He suggested that we try a couple of dinner plates so we did. Everything was so good and despite being busy food came out quickly. Another plus to sitting in the bar was the nice view. We love visiting Port Aransas and go every year in Sept. We will definitely be back for dinner!
Definitely a top-3 restaurant, there were five people in our party and everyone's dish was delicious. Highly recommend the Crab Stuffed Fish and the Gulf Fish Vera Cruz. The Bayou sauce with the stuffed fish was pure perfection. My pomegranate jalapeño margarita was super tasty, as well. Our server Brandon was friendly and attentive. After 25 yrs of visiting Port A annually, we finally found a spot we look forward to returning to.
Wait time was not bad. We got seated and was seated for about 15 plus minutes before we asked a random server for help. They had to locate a server for us. Jamie ended up being the server. She was on something because she was high. Didnt ask if we wanted appetizers first or and was fast to give the check. So when we asked about dessert it seems like an issue because she already gave us our ticket. When we got our food we got our appetizers with our meals. And had to ask for sauces...
