So sad that Guy and Linda have decided to close the amazing Liberty Hall. Will never have whole grilled flounder like they prepared ever again. There is a sign outside of the building saying that it is time for someone else to take over the historic building. Let’s hope it does not get torn down.

Really really good food!!! Pretty platings and excellent service from our waiter Eric! We ask for him each time we go! Rare find in Port A. A little disappointed that they won't seat a party of more than six people (always been this way, before COVID). We're locals so we've been everywhere, this place really is special. Chef Guy Carnathan is amazing!!

Now that we are in the ”to go” mode.. I love that they have a “car hop” that will take your order in the parking lot will and bring you a “to go” cup of covered wine to enjoy while you wait for the meal “to go.” I loved the oriental amberjack with rice and asparagus. Everything was incredible. Enjoy and tip well!

This place isn't just "good for food on the island". It is a perfectly executed menu of deliciousness that you could put in any city and it would compete! The Parmesan blue crab custard snapper with asparagus and linguini is one of the best meals you will ever have. The butter cracker crusted black drum is also excellent. you've got to respect that the chef won't substitute, because his menu is perfectly designed. The waitress we have usually is awesome and cares about ur experience. I think she's the wife of the owner? Or chef? Idk, but she's awesome. The wine list is legit too. I'm afraid to post this cuz it's our secret. But I guess now the secret's out!

Absolutely awesome food. Many people told me it was pricey but great food is worth paying for and Mr. Carnathan is obviously a master at his trade. This was my first visit there but since I live here in Port Aransas, will definately be the first of many! I would recommend Liberty Hall to all who visit our little island. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere!

My husband ordered the seafood gumbo appetizer, and it was delicious. More like a meal than an appetizer. The fried oysters with asperagus and mashed potatoes were very good as well as the Red Snapper grilled in lemon butter. Dessert was really yummy. Cheese cake with strawberries, topped with caramel sauce and fresh whipped cream. There was a very good wine list by the glass and bottle, several types of bottled beers and excellent, friendly service. The atmosphere with music playing in the background really added to the dinner environment. Well worth the price.

Food was average. They served us drinks and coffee in paper cups --- uh considering the prices that's totally unacceptable!! Walk across the street to Roosevelt's for a much better meal and service !!

Food is excellent service was okay. The service would have been excellent had or waitress been more communicative on expectations of wait times. Ex: the soup is going to take 15-20minutes to come out. Do you still want it, or would you like a different appetizer?
