We waited 20 minutes after being seated for anyone to take our drink order. Then another 20 minutes before we received our drinks. I truly only wanted to come here because I shared the name of one of the drinks which I ordered and never received. Then to the food once we got it my pasta was burnt and hard on the bottom. The fried oysters are frozen not fresh. Very disappointing for a restaurant we was so excited for. I feel it is very over priced for the quality of the food, service and wait time.

It was okay. Ask the fried fish was great. The grilled mahi was tough. Service from Shelby was great. The bar staff made a fantastic top shelf margarita. Not a long wait at 5:30. Any later and you should be prepared to wait

HORRIBLE....people online check in and show up way way late while people check in at the restaurant and they put online ahead that was late to the front of the line....NOT GOOD SERVICE... late is late they should have to recheck in at a later time ......punished for being here while others get the front of line......

The food is not worth the price. I ordered the Richard's fish, which was the size of a child's plate for $33. The food presentation was not that great either. The lasagna lacked noodles and was mostly sauce. I was shocked to see they store their utensils out in the open in the public dining area. The staff was nice but were dressed as if they were working at a fast food restaurant wearing cutoff shorts.

SASW has changed ownership in recent years. And I’d be lying if I said it’s just as good as it’s always been. The food is still very delicious, but not quite as fresh and as quality as it used to be. The dinner salad looked as if it was pre made and plastic wrapped to serve later. However, it was good. The kids spaghetti and meatball (It’s a huge meatball!) was delicious; as they use the same delicious marinara on it, as they do the regular Italian dishes it appears. The Italian Classic Pizza was fantastic and perfect for two. The boiled shrimp was ok; as a few were slightly grainy and not super fresh. The coconut shrimp was tasty, but a touch overcooked. The big miss in my humble opinion, is that they no longer offer their amazing salad bar and their warm rolls!! The thing wasn’t all that large; but offered some delicious, fresh greens, peanuts, okra and so much more!! Please SASW!! BRING THAT SALAD BAR BACK!! Love how they still give homage to the SASW of old, with pics of Jay and the family and staff all around restaurant too! All n all, still a nice, delicious place to bring your family (even it’s a large family!) and enjoy some delicious Italian and sea food! The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is delightful.
The bathroom was despicable and the tables were sticky. Upsetting considering it isn't cheap and they don't let you call to make a reservation yet they give you a 1-1.5hr wait time for a table.
Luckily, the food was delicious and had generous portions.
