We had dinner here during a recent trip to Port A. I'm not going to lie but I was very hesitatant to go because I'm a picky eater. I am so glad that I did!!! We can't stop talking about it.

We made reservations because we were told that they book fast. When we arrived there were many empty tables but they were all full by the time we left.

Our table of six ordered three appetizers to share, an entree each and five desserts. We sampled each other's dishes and every plate with every course was left clean.

We had Paul as our server and Ana as his assistant. They were both excellent! They didn't rush us, answered all of our questions and gave us the right amount of attention.

We enjoyed the food, the service and will definitely return when in the area. We have already started recommending Venetian to our friends!!!

The dinner was excellent, and the service was some of the best. The room was dark and limited light We used our flashlight Ap on our phone to read the menu. All the dishes ordered were prepared with care and great presentation. This wasn’t the best Italian food we ever had but is the best you can get in the Texas Coastal Bend. We started with Crostini di Granchio “Crab Crostini” and a carafe for pinot grigio. The crostini were three slices of grilled ciabatta with plenty of crab for each slice of bread. The sauce on the crab added flavor without overpowering the delicate crab. They only have wine and beer. The house wine was good, easy to drink and reasonably priced. Our entrees were Filetto di Mqanzo al Gorgonzola and Spaghetti Pescatora. Both came with a house salad, or you can upgrade to a Caprese or a Caesar. The house salad of mixed greens came with a balsamic vinaigrette. The caprese was three large slices of fresh mozzarella on tomato slices. Both were very good, but both had under ripe tomatoes.

The gorgonzola sauce on the filet complemented the beef without an overwhelming it cheese flavor. The Pescatora was loaded with seafood. We requested extra garlic and red pepper flakes. Both were a good addition to the dish. Nice service touch, they provided a bowl for the shells. For Dolce, it was Tiramisu. The piece was large enough to share with cup of Americo coffee. We will be returning to try some additional items on the menu

I want to start by saying the food was great all around. My complaint is with our bill. I have eaten here before with a larger party and couldn’t wait to bring my husband for our anniversary. Our server Nancy was fine, however she was noticeably more attentive to her other tables that she seemed to know. She really seemed uninterested us. The dining room assistance actually asked us more questions and made us feel right at home, even asked if we were celebrating. Not once did our server go over the menu, ask if we had eaten there before, etc. Now for the bill. Everything is handwritten. That’s fine. Not a problem. When we order our meal the server asked if we wanted a salad. The way she worded it was it comes with a house but we also have these other options. My husband and I both decided on the cesars and assumed it was part of the entree. When we got our bill not only did we pay $24 for 2 salads but we also barely touched them. When we got our bill I paid partly in cash and part on a card. I was never told there was a credit card fee or anything. All in all it just left a sour taste in our mouth. Communication goes along way. I would like to try again, as the food was amazing as always. It’s just nice to treat everyone the same and inform us for all the extra charges.

Always the spot we go to when in Port Aransas. Had my birthday there this year. They made it amazing and the food is always delicious. The service is always on point. Highly recommend stopping in for a great steak and pasta. The tiramisu though is everyone's favorite. They run out, so pre-order with the reservation.

We were racially profiled here. Do not come here. Got there at around 7 pm and the host said they were full and didn’t even tell us to get our names down or even say they weren’t taking any more customers. The other hostess looked us up and down and walked away. So unfortunate how there are people still out there who do this. This place is in Port A, not Greece. Which we have visited. But Port A as a whole is great and there are many nice people.

Delicious pastas with fresh seafood and their bread is top-notch.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. The service was second to none. Never an empty glass. Great wine recommendations. The Lasagna is awesome. I took some extra back to my room and ate it for breakfast. It’s that good. I want some NOw!
