Virginia's was one of my first stops as soon as I arrived! I HIGHLY recommend the Yellowfin Tuna from the appetizers menu! I went twice during this visit and brought some home with me!!! I have loved this ever since I tried it years ago. Great job Virginia's!!!

The food and drinks are terrible and it’s over-priced for what you get. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

I’m not broke, nor am I a brat. I enjoy quality food and don’t mind spending my hard-earned money on a meal that lives up to the hype. But what I can’t stand is being sold a façade of excellence that doesn’t deliver. The menu sets high expectations, promising a seafood experience that feels local, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. The inability to make reservations—a tactic designed to suggest high demand—is nothing more than a gimmick. The truth? The crowd is made up of unsuspecting tourists chasing a culinary fantasy that doesn’t exist. Here’s the reality: It starts with the crab dip. You’re expecting a hot, cheesy, bubbling delight with buttery crackers, but instead, you’re served cold imitation crab and a packet of bland, mass-produced crackers. The "fresh grilled Mahi Mahi" is actually a sad quarter-filet, straight out of a vacuum-sealed package, lightly dusted with Mrs. Dash seasoning, and cooked by following instructions off the bag. The "garlic butter sauce" arrives in a plastic ketchup container, the kind you’d expect at a fast-food joint. The $36 snow crab legs? Two Ben E. Keith-grade legs tossed on a couple of uninspired slabs of leaf lettuce with yet another plastic container of butter. And then there’s the "Cajun Shrimp Dump," a name as misleading as the rest of the menu. It’s neither Cajun nor a dump. It’s just unseasoned, boiled shrimp—plain, lifeless, and laughably disappointing. Then there’s the kicker: a $4 fountain drink to wash down this sorry excuse for a meal, and when the bill arrives, it’s a whopping $250. For this? Trust me, do yourself a favor—skip the charade. Go up the road to Dairy Queen and enjoy some hot, crispy steak fingers with creamy, flavorful gravy. You’ll get a better meal, better value, and none of the pretense. And as you leave this place, $250 lighter and full of regret, you’ll remember this post and wish you had listened.

Was really excited to eat here but unfortunately did not have a great experience. Very long wait to be seated, service was subpar, and the food was not great. Ordered a blooming onion for an appetizer and the onion was still raw with wet batter. Our meals were supposed to come with rolls and they were all out. Maybe things are better when it’s less busy but I would not recommend based on this experience.

Virginia's on the Bay offers an exceptional dining experience with stunning waterfront views, perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal. Ample parking makes it an easy choice for visitors.

We started with the crab dip appetizer, which was delightful with homemade tortilla chips that were a perfect, crispy pairing. For the main courses, the garlic fish was incredibly flavorful, seasoned just right to highlight the natural taste of the fish. The coconut shrimp was another standout, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a tropical twist that paired perfectly with the seaside setting.

Virginia's on the Bay combines quality food with a welcoming atmosphere and views that elevate the entire experience. Highly recommended!

After a long drive we went to place a to go order and was helped by the wonderful bartender Summer Miller. Summer was kind, polite, and efficient. We placed and received our order and she even talked me into trying the Ooey Gooey Luie it was amazing. The girls and I had destroyed that dessert while we waited on our food. Summer made our short visit very pleasant it was a perfect redirect from a long car ride. Thank you Summer, well done.

Waiter seated us for beers, then had a 10 minute conversation 15 feet away with another diner, just chatting not taking an order. We walked out

We had a party of 11 on a Saturday night and it was wonderful all around. Our server Abby was very pleasant and took great care of us, completely enjoyed our evening.
Four of us returned Monday to sit on the dock, have a few drinks and lunch, had another great experience with Jo Jo as our server, he again took wonderful care of us and simply added pleasure to our visit the that afternoon.

Nothing like showing up during business hours to be turned away and told they are no longer seating people.
