"Just Gross" How is that you can go here at noon (normal lunch time!) when you would think everything should be freshly cooked, but yet everything tasted like it had been reheated from two days before!? One strike, I'm out

If you want Popeyes go the location on Spurlock Rd. I have always gone to this location but it keeps going down.Last night was the last straw. The service is bad, the wait is forever only to get an old, overcooked, dry, toasted, shriveled up, gross box of chicken. I'm done. Get out of line and look for some roadkill on the way home and it will be more fresh and probably have more meat. Don't mind me, I'm just disappointed for paying $40 for trash. I should have just eaten the dollar bills. I love Popeye's franchise but this location no longer holds anything close to the standard.

The pneon Gulfway Dr, I go often, at least once a week. 3 times when I asked for mash w no gravy t n ey got it wrong. Today I wouldn't accept it, I went in hot and complained one said "don't give it to her" 2nd o e " do you ant a refund" when they handed me the mashed the 3rd one said don't come back". Is that really how you want to treat cuatomers.? It was Fri Feb 23, 2024 at 4:30 pm.

Slowest service Popeyes. Rude employees and the food always comes out
It is very clear that every Popeyes has racist employees working there. I have completely stopped getting chicken there because of that. The last time I went too one, it was on Gulfway Drive in Port Arthur Texas. I was going to go through the drive through but it was packed so I went inside. There was 1 person inside other than me. They took his order and the employee told him it would be a few minutes so he sat down. Then I gave them a small order and I was told it was going to take about 15 minutes as I stood there I saw everyone in the drive through continued to get Their food while we had too wait. I said something to her about that and she said all of those people were here before you came in. That’s not right and I told her that! I could have been there forever! The man who ordered his chicken from inside got his chicken and left within a few minutes. I mentioned that too. She said we don’t have any chicken cooked When I could SEE chicken sitting in the back because there is a mirror over it. And I told her that. Another woman inside that must have also worked there too got up and went to the lady and said,” Just give her the chicken”!!! So then the woman gave me my small order and I went out to my car to leave and the woman that told her to give me the chicken followed me out. I started to back out when this young woman pulled out behind me Blocking me from leaving! I knew she was intentionally doing that and it really just verified my comment about racism. She finally took off and so did I and we were side by side on Gulfway Drive and I just laid on my horn when I past her. No, I will never go to another Popeyes ever again! There really needs to be a crew that is both black and white people to keep this kind of treatment from happening. It’s really sad but everywhere that just hires black people this is the treatment you get!

Waited 35 mins for my ghost pepper wings, half were cold... about 6 other customers were complaining about waiting so long also for chicken, then no dipping sauces available.
