Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

This experience was trash. We love Tokyo we come all the time. Today on our anniversary we got treated like second hand customers. The portions were not evenly distributed we got the very least of everyone at the table. The cook slung grease all over the place the whole time he cooked. The table was covered. The food was overly greasy. We were very disappointed and felt as though we were being singled out. We left immediately after the food was cooked. Even though we started to walk out before he finished... It felt like we were singled out because we are African American. Our cook didn't even talk to us. As he talked to everyone else at the table. We don't ever use the race card, but tonight this is the impression we got.

The service was excellent, with our waiter being very kind. The food was great. I loved the spicy salmon roll and shrimp tempura roll. The cleanliness, however, needs improvement. When you first walk in, the stale air hits you in the face. As you take a few more steps, you start sliding on the greasy floor. Everything is greasy, including table and walls. I really wish the cleanliness matched the good food and good service.

Amazing! This was my first time going, and I had an amazing chef who grilled our food right before our eyes. It was the best experience, and eating food there was fantastic.

A bit pricy but the best sushi in Port Arthur/Nederland. Love their Dragon Roll.

I had a very disappointing experience with my pickup order. There was a significant error with a simple item, and I would caution others to double-check their orders carefully before leaving. I'm hesitant to recommend this location for pickup.

Walked in the restraint greeted great. Got walked to the table and waiter was so Mano tone like he didn’t want to work or take order. Food was bunched up all in one plate. Everything was too salty and dry.

We walked in at 5pm. We were sat buy a man who had like a track suit on? He sat us right in front of take out. Our waitress came and got us waters while waiting on our drinks and looking at the menu. When did businesses allow their staff to be so unkept and sloppy. Our waitress was well groomed. However, the rest of the staff and the business itself should be ashamed! Clothes wrinkled and untucked. Hair unbrushed and everywhere on the girls. Only one who smiled was our waitress who was running around like a chicken waiting on everyone. The food was delicious but, we won’t be dining in this business again. Do something about your staffs personal hygiene and cleanliness! Do something about your take out door! The half curtain/ flag thingy is tacky and tasteless!

Good hibachi, good sushi, and they make great drinks as well. Service was friendly and fast. They’re very quick during the lunch rush. Only negative recently was that I found eggshells in my fried rice.

I love everything about Tokyo! The service, the food being cooked in front of us, meeting new people & the restrooms were clean. Great establishment.

Awesome place

My shrimp was not grilled they made me some fake not grilled shrimp you can taste when shrimps are grilled with your food first time it was really good and grilled the second time it was not grilled they faked it then go tell me differently when I know you can take it grilled. It was not grilled they took my money I talked to the manager he consists that it was grilled when it did not taste like it was grilled

Super clean, great service! Food is always on point! Plenty of parking, and they take reservations! Just make sure your whole party is there!

Pretty good/average sushi chain. They don't always have the fish listed on the menu, which is something that i would expect from a higher end place. The salads often have brown lettuce also, but overall, it is decent.
