While you do have to pay for your chips and salsa, it's totally worth it! The blackened fish tacos are absolutely delicious. They let me modify to flour tortillas with no issue. My husband ordered a cheese quesadilla and they brought him chicken - not a big deal at all for them to change it. My picky AF toddler at almost all of her cheese quesadilla!! It was actually pretty dang delicious for something so simple. Little sad we don't live anywhere close because I could easily eat here once a week.

We were staying on SPI and wanted some good cheap Mexican food and this place was good. We did not get chips and salsa before our meal which I was disappointed with but the food made up for it. Pictured is the 3 way fajita: beef, chicken, and shrimp which came out sizzling and was so good. We also got the beef enchilada plate for $8.99 came with 4 enchiladas, rice, and beans and was also very good. Highly recommend. As a side note, we noticed they had a lunch buffet that included, grilled chicken, enchiladas, fish, rice, beans, salad bar and more. $12.99 for an adult.

The food was not good. Environment wasn’t very clean. They made it seem like the buffet was the only option. So we tried it. I’m pretty sure the food had been leftover from lunch time because it was cold and tasted off. We both had upset stomachs shortly after eating here. Price was outrageous for the quality of food being served. Do not recommend.
Hands down, this restaurant is a culinary gem in Port Isabel! It is not a Michelin star restaurant but it is where your grandma or mother, if they were excellent family cooks, might’ve worked. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The food? Absolutely sensational! Each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and made with obvious care and attention to detail. The service was impeccable; our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations. Whether you're craving classic favorites or eager to try something new, this restaurant is a must-visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
