Love this place. Local flavor with a capital “L”; great food; great price; great atmosphere; great people. Perfectly comfortable sit-down breakfast and lunch restaurant that really shows the warmth, friendly, laid-back hospitality of Port Isabel. Extremely popular with those in-the-know. A must for visitors and locals alike.
Small family restaurant serving authentic Mexican food. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was fairly busy but we were greeted immediately and warmly. The way I knew it was homemade was when my wife asked if something could be tweaked or replaced and the waitress said of course. I was worried that since the pricing was so affordable that it wouldn't be satisfying. I was wrong. The portions weren't huge but definitely satisfying. Tried it for the first time and this place makes you feel at home with the friendly service and home cooked meals. Breakfast was delicious and service was fast. Staff is very attentive. Tacos are big and well served and prices are very reasonable.
