I recommend this place, I loved it! Food, coffee and fresh waters with an authentic rich seasoning and flavor, my family and I were delighted. If you go to Puerto Isabel don't forget to visit this super economical restaurant. Recommended!! ????? ?

Best blackened shrimp tacos in the Laguna area. And they provide lots of sauces to mix them up with. Never disappoints.

Excellent food. After a few days on the island, we were pretty much over seafood. This was an excellent choice. Big portions and great service. About as authentic as you can get. Definitely will return.

We have been coming to eat here since last year and it does not disappoint! We love it, from the breakfast to lunch and dinner specials we have not had a bad meal. Had the chicken mole and torta pastor tonight and I can not say enough! If you are looking for great food please give them a try! The staff and owner always have a smile and there to help.

A delightful experience for lunch! Adorably decorated and each table had a photo of a person place or thing and the Spanish word for it. The 2 Abuelas working there made the whole meal even more homey. Plus, Mon - Fri Winter Texan Specials! To complete the entire experience, our meals were TASTY! and ENORMOUS!

Little family owned restaurant with very inexpensive specials every night during the week. Food was plentiful - as in BIG servings. Unfortunately, it was way too bland. As in very little flavor. And no tortilla chips before your meal. That's almost unheard of in a South Texas Mexican restaurant. Finally, they charge you for water claiming they don't have a filter for their tap water and thus you have to buy bottled water. That definitely was unexpected, and definitely a turn off as soon as you sit down....at least for me. Friendly people on staff and they are very service oriented. I just wish the food was better seasoned.

Awful. Don't come here. The chilito pikin on island was way better. We asked for water ...they didn't tell us it was purchase bottle. We asked for salsa with main meal and they brought bottle of habanero but didn't say it was different salsa than we already had. My son put it on his tacos and couldn't eat them because so hot but THEN they brought the initial salsa. The Al pastor tasted so bad, rotten or burned. Poor beef meat quality on my husbands tacos. I told the waitress about the bad meat and nobody came to discuss or apologize. Overall so disappointed. Taco off #1. Worst good and experience we've ever had on island with food.

Food was average at best, the service, however, was absolutely horrendous. Not that there is a lot of decent places to eat in this area, but this restaurants service and food quality was bad compared to the cost. Many other places to get better quality food and much better service for the same price or just a tad more.
