Great food. Loved the shrimp tacos and my wifes burger was tasty and juicy. Service was top notch. Great view of the bridge and harbor from the windows.

Hi, it’s me again … When you live in a Class A RV, you can go out to eat A LOT!! Today, we are just across the bridge/causeway from South Padre Island at Pirates Landing Restaurant. To be fair, it’s something everyone should visit just because it’s a ‘tourist attraction’. But you DO NOT have to stay for the food. It was what I would call ‘ok, good but not great’. Our servers were very kind and attentive, but the food is really what I would NOT take family to if they came to visit. If you can believe it, I have killed some little, VERY little bugs, scattering across the flaming paint on our table. The shrimp was a bit stinky, like it was a few days old, and the ‘sausage’ was really a hot dog 🤷🏼‍♀️ Can’t make this stuff up, you know! This is an establishment we will NOT frequent again … even while writing this I am shooing away flying bugs. Do yourself a favor and pass on Pirates Landing unless you come for the tourist-y experience alone.

Well the shrimp tasted old but on a good note they were cleaned well - no veins. I had the fajita plate it did not have enough tortillas in fact it was over cooked but cool not sizzling like you expect from a plate of fajitas. Not my favorite place to eat. It’s a tourist trap. I sat at my table and water was dripping on my head. There were at least three bugs of some kind on the table perhaps ants.

The food was so good! The mariachi band added some flair. Sue was great, she made sure we knew the specials and that all of our needs were met.

Amazing service Martha H was the one that attended us and she was polite and amazing made us laugh and made us feel welcome and the food was amazing and recommend this place 5/5 👍🏼👌🏼

We have ate here multiple times in yearly visit to SPI. Food always good.

This year was first time trying there breakfast. Really enjoyed specials 2 mornings and French toast another day. All were really good. We will return

Excellent food! Went there for breakfast and had the breakfast tacos. Chorizo and egg with cheese served on a giant flour tortilla was the best tasting chorizo I've ever had. The waitress was a very kind, gentle speaking elderly woman. So very sweet. Atmosphere was nice as we sat outside. Watched the pelicans, cranes and seagulls fly by. Lots of really cool signs and decor.

We came here on a Friday night for dinner and got a table in about 15 minutes. Staff was doing an amazing job from the moment we walked in. We were able to get a booth next to the window which had a beautiful view of the ocean. I ordered the fish and shrimp platter which was ok. Nothing special. The fajita plate we got to share was a good portion, but the steak was a bit chewy. The cocktails were a bit too sweet for my taste, didn’t really taste the alcohol. The food was average and priced a little high due to being in a tourist area. This restaurant had excellent service and the decor was fun. Good place to bring the family.
