The selection is sure to have something for most. Their prices are very affordable and the service is friendly, without imposing.

The big neon sign out front says SNACKS, but Scarlett’s is much more than a snack place. It’s really a small restaurant / all-day & night luncheonette. With a lot of personality.

This is a small place, but very pleasant and relaxed. There are four tables and seating for 13 people, but it doesn’t feel cramped. The layout is bright, neat and clean, without being bare-looking. Outside there are two more tables with chairs. The serving counter looks like a street vendor cart and I wonder if they just expanded one to make this shop.

There are charming and playful details inside and lots of things that kids will find fun. There are bubble-gum machines! And fresh flowers. You can tell someone who cares a lot owns this place.

The staff and patrons mostly speak Spanish, but they were very friendly and we managed to communicate. They gave me an English menu to help. As unanimously smiling patrons came and left, there was much laughter and good-will evident.

Their specialty is crepes (seven types) and waffles (five types) plus syrups. They offer a lot of different smoothies and raspas. The full menu on the blackboard lists a lot more.

When I visited it was 10:30 at night. It’s great that they’re open late. I ordered a hot dog and nachos. They prepared it fresh and it was inexpensive. Just what I needed.

Crepes, and a wide variety of other desserts. #2 crepe with Nutella, banana, strawberry, lechera, and whipped cream was the favorite (recommend to add pecans). They have banana splits, waffles, coffee, snow cones (raspas), smoothies, licuados (shakes), elote (corn on the cob with mayonnaise, Chile, and cheese),Small place with four tables and twelve chairs total. They can handle a group of six.Amazing variety, friendly service, fast, try a crepe on your first time. In a strip mall and hard to see from the road, just turn in to the parking lot and find a spot. Look for the two blinking open signs.Very yummy ?

We were looking for some good Mexican food. Didn't want to waste time with the touristy places on the island which may have a view but are generally overpriced and not that great.Food was great, portions enormous, and prices realistic. The only downside was they don't have beer. They get liquor I'll squeeze in a 6th star.
