This book store / cafe was such a gem! My husband and I were on vacation and came on a Saturday afternoon and wasn’t too busy at all! The owner was super sweet & helpful. It has tons of books, chess setup, spots to do puzzles and lounge areas to enjoy your book and drink! Wish we can bring this place back to where we live! We loved it so much!❤

Is bigger on the insde. Great selection and for every type of reader. I went for a coffee and will be back with my 5 year old to buy a book for him. Good coffee. They have chairs to read and some boardgames to pass the time.

Stopped in with my family and fell in love. Both of my kiddos and husband found great books to purchase with the great selection. The coffee was tasty too as we sat for a bit reading our new books and playing a quick game of chess. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again next time we are in the area!

Good selection of new and used books. Convenient location and the woman (possibly owner) was very helpful.

Friendly service! Came in for a quick coffee fix and never wanted to leave. They have a wife selection of books, cozy surroundings, and a cute coffee setup. They even have a 'go on a blind date' with a book! Story time for little ones at 3:30pm on Sundays. Hope to spend more time there next time!

My family was completely ignored when we went in today. I said hello to the girl behind the counter when we walked in but got no response and no reaction the entire time we were in there. We were also the only ppl in there so I’m not sure what that was about but that’s the second local bookstore I’ve tried to support in the area. Are all bookstore employees rude in this town?

This bookstore is amazing. A great selection of new books with a few used ones. A fantastic game, relaxing area, and a coffee bar!!

The absolute best thing? This place has an AMAZING STICKER SELECTION!

Lovely bookshop with really nice coffee, probably the best we had in Port Isabel. The jigsaw puzzle was a fun addition

A small but delightful independent bookstore right before the bridge to Padre. With an eclectic but varied assortment of books. Plus lots of comfy chairs, and multiple open chess sets ready for a quick game (my son beat me—which is a win for a mom any day!) I love visiting the local bookstore in person-seeing favorite books is like finding old friends. And you can get coffee.

A great, little bookstore! They’ve got used and new books, as well as media and gifts. I loved that there was seating, a small coffee bar, and staff recommendations. You can also look for all the booknooks, attend events, and volunteer. It’s a great place to find a good book.

I love unruly cactus. The drinks are amazing, and the book selection is incredible. They have a great used book trade-in system.

Cool atmosphere. Grabbed some books and played chess on one of their many chess boards

A nice relaxing nook right outside South Padre Island for when you need a break from the noise. The atmosphere is impressive, comfy, inviting, full of books and artwork. The espresso is OK. For a coffee snob, you might not frequent this place for the espresso, but you'll get a lot out of the enjoyable and peaceful atmosphere.
