Cool atmosphere. Grabbed some books and played chess on one of their many chess boards
A nice relaxing nook right outside South Padre Island for when you need a break from the noise. The atmosphere is impressive, comfy, inviting, full of books and artwork. The espresso is OK. For a coffee snob, you might not frequent this place for the espresso, but you'll get a lot out of the enjoyable and peaceful atmosphere.
We stopped by this place on our way home from vacation, it’s a really cute spot with lots of books and cozy seating. I was hoping to order a coffee, but the employee (maybe the owner?) seemed tied up on her laptop and on a phone call. She mentioned she was working two jobs, so we totally understand. We ended up grabbing coffee elsewhere, but maybe next time we’ll get the chance to try it out properly.
Excellent assortment of books at great prices. Staff was kind and helpful. Coffee was delicious and affordable.
I got a delicious iced latte. And found many books that I had to buy. Look forward to going back
I wanted to try this out. I went thinking it was a second hand book shop. It wasn't. They charge you half the price of the used book. For the price I was about to pay I could have gone to Barnes and Noble for brand new books! Ridiculous!
Stopped in to play chess an got a nice Mango tea to enjoy while there.. Nice shop an people there as well... Wi. Winter Texans
Great selection for all readers and friendly customer service!
This is such a cute little bookstore, and I absolutely love it! It seems like a cool hangout spot, and it's surprisingly spacious—don’t let the front fool you. There's a great selection of books, and I really love the postcards with handwritten notes on them. The only downside was the coconut iced coffee, which was a bit bland and lacked flavor; I couldn't taste much coffee, but that might just be personal preference. Overall, it’s definitely worth stopping in to check out this cozy spot!
Super lovey book store with notes recommending books. It has chairs to sit down and read as well as chess and other board games to play. The store feels very welcoming and homey, my girlfriend and I were so happy to find this place. The staff were very helpful, we will 100% be coming back when we visit.

Cute little indie bookshop with a great selection, good sales racks, some used books, and good coffee.
