The store is clean and the staff is helpful except when it comes to bagging groceries. I always try to bag my own. Today it was potatoes on top of the bread. Thanks for that.

March 24, 2020. I had to wait in a line about 5 minutes to be able to enter the store and was then instructed to follow the arrows on the floor as I went down aisles. It was a little awkward, but I totally appreciated the store’s effort to reduce and minimize my proximity to other shoppers. All HEB personnel were friendly, helpful and respectful. THANK YOU HEB for trying to make things safer for me, the other shoppers and your employees. I heard a few men grumbling in line about “We never did this with swine flu...”. I complimented the managers, the stickers and the cashiers! Taking this situation seriously is the only way to reduce infections! Keep it up!

HEB store brands are terrible on canned goods and dairy products. They have few sale items, the BOGO items are for larger groups and people that do not cook from scratch.

This wasn't a bad experience for me. Other than the fact that I felt I waited in line, like forever to check out. I wanted to Yelp this HEB when I was in Port Lavaca today, but TMOBLE really sucks in the Port Lavaca area for some reason. Anyways, today around 8:30pm, I asked an employee by the name of Norma who worked in Deli or Bakery (not quite sure, but she was in all black) if she knew where the laundry detergent was. To my surprise, she walked me to aisle 12 and showed me where the laundry detergent was. WOW! this store gets an A+ in my book for today. I had never been to this store before, so I had no idea where anything was. To the management of this store: you have a keeper. And her name is Norma from either Deli or Bakery. Even though my wait for check out was a long wait, I have to say, even your cashier was nice on check out station no.2. I think his name was Hector, perhaps. He was busy as I could see, but customer service is huge for me which I have always felt would overlap other down falls a store or restaurant may have. So, overall, this was a better experience for me than I expected.

Really nice stop on the way to Rockport, however this time I brought my three year-old into the store and asked one of the ladies @ The bakery " if they have cookies for kids?" She rather rudely said "free cookies? No, we don't have free cookies." She then instructed me to buy a full pack of 18 sugar cookies... Won't keep me from coming back but sort of put a damper on this trip...
