Fajita was moist and had that grilled taste. Their carne guisada is what you expected and not over spiced or that extra taste of cumin. Aguas frescas were delicious (lemonade and jamaica).
This is a great authentic mexican restaurant. There is a large varied menu. Serving all traditional tex-mex items. They offer many lunch specials daily. They also serve pancakes. The service is absolutely fantastic. Very friendly staff and responsive to the customer. Atmosphere is pleasant, and all the local, whether plant workers or the countless people who enjoy fishing in Matagorda Bay, all love this place. One of the vert best dining locations in Port Lavaca.
Everything was great; however, I was a little disappointed about the lemomade. My first visit was June 14, and it was the best lemomade I've ever had! It tasted as if honey was used and it was nice and lemony. This time it was not very flavorful nor sweet. Someone, please find out who made the lemonade and how he/she made it the evening of June 14. It was perfect! ? I had the cabeza plate, and it was delicious!!!
