Visiting from Phoenix area & wanted to try some Texas BBQ, very friendly staff, cozy little restaurant. I had a dish with brisket, sausage, beans & rice & it was delicious. Would definitely go again. I was going to get some brisket or meals to go but unfortunately they were closed on Sunday & Monday.
I went a few weeks back on a family trip to port Lavaca and were trying to decide on lunch before heading back home to San Antonio and while searching google we found pit devil bbq and decided to stop there. So glad we did! The food was so delicious and the portions were very generous! We came in with a large group and the staff took care of us so well and were patient with us lol the staff was so friendly and came to chat with us. They then took my nephews, niece, and son on...
We stopped here on our way home from our family's vacation house and it was ?? ? the brisket was tender! (Even the lean plate) sausage was good, rice was fluffy and the beans were flavorful. Staff was nice and helpful. If you're from out of town and looking for delicious Bar-B-Q, you should definitely check this place out. 10/10
