This place deserves more love. It’s one of the most authentic Italian mom and pop restaurants in southeast Texas and you can tell that the owners take pride in their business and really care about what they are giving the customers even after all these years.
Great food and a really nice experience at Joe’s Italian Kitchen. The Garlic Cheese bread is a must — perfectly toasted and full of flavor.
The Chicken Diane was amazing, with a rich creamy sauce, mushrooms, and bacon over pasta. Absolutely delicious.
We also tried the Pasta Sampler (lasagna, manicotti, and cheese ravioli) and everything was great. It’s a perfect option if you want to try a little of everything.

Everything seemed sort of rushed. I understand it was a Sunday, and probably one of their busier days. The food was good, no complaints. The restaurant itself was cramped. Not from all the customers, but just in general. The table we were sat at was placed in a prime walkway. It didn't fit for that space. If they move to a bigger location, I'd go again. Wait staff was polite, food came out in a timely manner. Over all it was just ok.
