Chicken Restaurants near Portland

“I'm disappointed when I ask for Japanese kenta, but I'm still happy to be able to get delicious chicken for $5 in America. Japanese Kenta chicken has a soft batter and is delicious with a secret recipe, but the chicken batter here is crunchy, but the spices are not so good, making it a bit bland.
I ordered rhinoceros, drum, potatoes and biscuits.
Rhino: Juicy and delicious. It's greasy.
Drums: Small, but generally good.
Potato: Very salty
Biscuit: Too salty to eat.“

“Chicken tenders are out of this world. Disappointed with the onion rings at the Ingleside/Portland TX location. FROZEN! (The Robstown location still makes them fresh). Small store only 4 or 5 tables for seating. Really a take out store. Not the cleanest looking restaurant. Will have to say though the service was outstanding and I would go back for the chicken.“

“I don't usually come here due to it, just not being good. But today I was in the area and really hungry and wanted chicken, so I decided to give it a chance again. And today 03/21/2025 around 730 pm we got our food and came home to eat. I don't know who was doing the chicken around that time, but they deserve a raise. It was fresh, on point with flavor, cooked just right. And whoever did the fries today, the amount of salt they used was just right. Thanks to them. My family and I will be returning again.“
