Run, don’t walk, to the Roasted Clove! My husband and I visited for the first time tonight and had a fabulous dinner. We are always looking for new, great restaurants in Corpus, and are so excited that the Roasted Clove can join the list! We shared the calamari fingers, a wedge salad, and one of their nightly fresh-catch features, a roasted halibut with risotto. Everything was tasty (and we can be fairly picky). The calamari was crisp and tender, and the sauce was a great compliment. The wedge salad was delish, and the halibut was cooked perfectly (as was the risotto)! I loved the flavor of everything, and we’d like to do a huge shout out to our server Scott! He was kind and attentive, and added to our great experience. Thanks guys! We will be back.

We had a fantastic meal at the Roasted Clove last week. The calamari fries, Caesar salad, black drum, stuffed portobello, lasagna and pepperoni pizza were ALL delicious! The tiramisu was as as good as any we’ve had in Italy! Our server, Laura, was attentive without being overbearing and our little girls loved her! The quiet ambiance of the restaurant is conducive to a relaxing, pleasurable dining experience. I highly recommend the Roasted Clove to anyone looking for an extremely satisfying dining experience!!

Great local eatery with real culinary skill and presentation. The food was well balanced with no overbearing notes. Each ingredient spoke well with each other. Good service. While little in the way of atmosphere, the ability to have a conversation with my dinner partner made that a non factor. Rare culinary treat in corpus.

We had been hearing raves about this restaurant from everyone we know! We went last night! and had three appetizers, quail, legs, crab fingers, and crab crostini. We loved the quail legs and crostini made with lump crab and brown butter. In fact, I liked it so much I had another order for my entrée. Decadent! This is my new favorite place! It’s on Alameda where the old Roughian used to be. They are also open for lunch! And they’re open on Monday night, which is extremely rare!
