Stopped here on our way to Red River. The service was excellent and very friendly. The food matched the service. The brisket was tender and had great flavor.

Make sure you stop by or deviate route to because you will be very happy you did. Brisket was outstanding, along with their sausage and sides (dang good beans). The best pleasant surprise was their sauce…Try it first as very unique, never had that type before. Has a sweet bbq taste…just try it! Will be back

So we finally got the opportunity to stop in!
Super cool little place! Smokin Dick's definitely has the biggest deck around 😂🙌
Tell me where you can get a 2 meat plate and drink for $20! Healthy size portions I left with my belly full. Satisfying and creamy mac and cheese, gender brisket with just enough fat.
Ribs were tender and fell off the bone practically.
The people were awesome and friendly. Felt like I was at home with my family

We love this place!! Always great food and the owners are wonderful!! Never ever leave without a smile except when they are sold out, and why ya got to get here as early as ya can. The fact someone would give a 1 star for that is ridiculous though. All bbq places that ROCK sell out fast!! I would have put picks of the Amazing food but google didn't give me a option for some reason?!?

When we moved to Post we were hoping to find a good BBQ hangout and boy did we?!? They are remodeling and recently opened their dining room. Their brisket will sit you down and shut you up in the most appetizing way. They are BYOB *because some of us need a good beer along with our good Texas BBQ. I have grown to love their quirky named menu items and need my fix weekly. My favorite items are their Brisket, Turkey and Mac n Cheese. I need to try their Pickle Lemonade soon!
Large serving, Good Value for price. We had the chopped briskets sandwiches... A+ !!!!

We were traveling from Sante Fe, NM on our way home to Austin, when we saw all the good reviews for Smokin’ Dick’s BBQ. When we were about 20 minutes from the restaurant, I placed an online order for pick up. We ordered 2 sliced brisket wraps, 1 brisket and turkey wrap, pinto beans, potato salad, a loaded baked potato and 3 large unsweetened teas. Let me tell you, everything was incredible. I wish I lived closer to Post because that BBQ was beyond delicious. The sides were so good, too. The owners are expanding the restaurant and they were so sweet to us. If you’re traveling with dogs like we were, there are plenty of grassy areas around the restaurant to let them out and have a potty break. You don’t want to go through Post without stopping at Smokin’ Dick’s. I’m looking forward to the next time I’m driving through Post and can try some of the other menu items.

If you’re passing through don’t count on this place for your meal. They close whenever they run out, so their posted hours are highly inaccurate. I’m guessing they’re never open anytime close to 6PM.

This is the best brisket I have ever had!! Stumbled upon it while passing through Post and saw the reviews. Didn’t need a knife. Well worth the drive. We hope to travel back this way soon!

The brisket is great and I've never had bbq sauce like theirs before. Try the pickle lemonade, it's an experience. Definitely will return. Prices are similar to bbq restaurants in Lubbock.
Parking: Not easy to find parking but you can get your food to go through the drive thru

I chanced upon this place passing through Post. I ordered the Sally plate (smaller portion of a meat and two sides). The staff members were very friendly. The food was delicious! I ordered a large unsweet tea to go with my meal and to drink as I finished my drive. I noticed on the menu that they offer a dill pickle lemonade. I would love to try that next time! They were currently under construction, adding a dining room. I had no trouble getting in and out. Definitely stop in for a bite when you are in Post, Tx.

Found this little treasure by chance on the way back from Albuquerque. Fantastic brisket and burnt ends and the owners were an absolute pleasure to talk to. Can’t wait to return!
