“Traveling from Amarillo to San Antonio and stopped for a quick drink. We go to renaissance festivals and I dress like a wizard so I thought "that's appropriate, let's see". We loved it! The wife and I both ordered the lunch special for the road and everything was great! She got the burger pie, peach tea and chocolate chip cookie. i got the jalapeño popper pie, cold brew with salted caramel and a peanut butter cookie, and we bought a bag of beans! Highly recommend! Only wish I had my wizard outfit so I could order the right way 🧙‍♂️”

“This is such a cute and friendly restaurant. The food (we had a brisket sandwich) is delicious. If you’re passing through town, which we were doing, or live here in Post, Texas you need to stop and eat here. Thank you for the hospitality.”

“We had the "BeSt TiMe" at the class reunion for Post High School Class of 1978. Loved every minute we were there. Fun, great atmosphere and service, friendly and very welcoming. Way to go Michelle and staff-well done!!!”

“We found Morales Cocina on Google as we were traveling from Austin to Colorado Springs. Their food was outstanding! We were privileged to be their last customers off the weekend after a long COVID closing. I had chicken flautas..crunchy and delicate! My brother had the enchiladas. The best frijoles this side of the Rio Grande! The rice was light, not cloying and heavy. Cannot say enough about how flavorful the food was. Met the chef and her son, who were delightful and seemed to be as pleased with our enjoyment of their food as we were with their good! 5 stars!”

“What a good find going through Post, TX! Super clean friendly atmosphere and the food was great. No kidding, the potions are very plentiful, esp breakfast. Waitress was Jill and this sweet lady was super. She had the whole restaurant and you would have thought there were 2 of her. Quick friendly and never seemed rushed. She even chatted a bit with us about Post! Thank you for the great service!”

“Great local burger joint. I'm in town for 5 days and have been more than once. You can order car-hop, dine in or to-go. They accept cash and cards (tap to pay as well!).

The bacon cheeseburger was good (bun was a little smooshed), and you get more fries than you'll ever eat. Great portions but it can be a little expensive. But honestly, I'd rather pay a local restaurant than a large chain.

The BLT was delicious. The onion rings were nice and crispy but the batter wasn't super flavorful.

What sets is apart and puts it over the top is the service and the atmosphere. Family friend with killer service. Can't ask for much more than that.

Just remember it's convenient food, not fast food. You might wait a bit for your order but it's definitely worth it.

It looks like a small roadside diner but the inside has tons of table seating. There's even a cute little game room in the back! The inside was a little dated but that adds to the charm. And even though it was dated it was definitely well kept and clean. I loved the town pride that is displayed all over the restaurant.

All in all I 💯 recommend and I'll probably visit again before I leave. I'm dying to try a cone or a shake.”

“We stopped on our way out of town. Our order was delivered so quickly it surprised us. We are regulars at Sonic and have visited many all across the country. The burgers were the best we have ever had and tasted fresh, as if they were grilled at home, the bun was delicious and veggies were yummy. Our tots were also hot and tasty. Our carhop, Faith, was a delight and verified our order. That is something not done at every location and I really appreciate her doing so. Plus, Faith did so with a wonderful smile! Way to go Sonic Drive-In Post, Texas and Faith!”

“Chicken was tender and moist, the place was clean and they had clean restrooms as well. Open parking space and on the street side to park your semi or camper.
Hurray to their manager who knew how to handle a customer service issue! I recommend this location!!👍”
