Tanglewood Bar & Grill

Not many places to eat on Sunday evening, so we choose this establishment. Service was outstanding but the food fell short. Ordered the brisket, skimpy portion, dry and lil bbq sauce. Seemed like they split the leftovers. Overpriced to get a basket of fried onions. Very disappointed. Will not return.

We ate there on 7/10 on a Friday at around 5:30. Thought it was funny how we were the only ones in the restaurant. Now i know why. Had to send the hamburger back because it was raw and disgusting looking. The swimming pool seemed to be the main attraction. Definitely needs a new manager. I do not understand why the residents put up with it. The next afternoon we ate at Island Bar and grill and wow, what a difference. Packed full of customers and a great atmosphere. Food and service both good.

Service is good and seating is comfortable. However, the food is just ok, but as expected. Any decent restaurants are at least 20 minutes away.

Super sad, it was Saturday night and we were the only ones there. Something isn’t right. Major issues for it to be 99% empty and at a lake resort community. The staff were very nice and I can tell they were struggling with the unknown of when the place is going to shut down. Our meal didn’t pay for the lights to be on that night. I wonder what is going on. I feel bad for the ownership. Can someone tell me the situation here. I love the area but what are we missing at this restaurant?

We just stopped in for drinks. They have a good selection of beer, spirits and wine.
The outdoor fire pits are fun.

I will be there for a week starting the 25th for 1st time in few yrz, but i love that place n im not real sure what deal is but it lookz like the time is wrong❓‼️❓ lookz like you open at 12:01 am til klose at 10 or 11 pm ...
Now, it just doesn't seem right like that, thought i would bring up n let yall ck it out‼️‼️‼️ I am meeting my new/old, known over three yrz, never met in person ~~~ but we are on 25th‼️‼️‼️ He is a well known country singer, n he saw me fr the stage, lolol Right here at home & his two security men, him n me for a week‼️‼️ I've been no where in about 8 yrz. health, there was probably last time, n i need a vacation like heaven ... N he is ready for Us be together n not sure I'll make it back home, except to pack more go back to Alabama his 600 acre farm‼️‼️‼️ Yippeeee
I came all the yrz w a cousin who had has ?? Think still doez, retired now cant imagine now is when she would get rid of it, lolol

Food was OK. Appetizers took 25 minutes and were not hot. Food came quicker. 1 of 4 orders was incorrect and had to be remade.
The girl server never offered us napkins, utensils, ketchup, nor refills...had to ask for them all. She didn't clear the dirty appetizer plates when our main course was brought out....very basic server knowledge definitely missing!!

Steak was under cooked and cold. Other Food quality was Mediocre. Wait staff was excellent! Drinks were excellent! Felt safe. Atmosphere was okay. Biggest improvement needed is food quality. Your at a resort. You have a higher standard that should ve meet. All in all I enjoy visiting. Sometimes great other times not. This was a big event. Small dinning much better. Honest review. Respectfully John
