Cortney worked with me for 2 years in helping plan an event, and over the course of those two years, she always went above and beyond to accommodate our group. We stayed at a “cabin” called “'Blackstone Island”. The purpose of the trip was a family get together. Keep in mind while you read this review that we paid $300 ish a night x 4 nights …… I expect MUCH more for that price! I researched multiple places before booking. I wanted something lakefront and good for swimming. This place slept 13 ish people. First off - it’s NOT a cabin NOR is it lakefront like they lead you to believe on the website. Felt scammed. Booked site online and arrived to a vehicle parked in our space. We graciously moved after a delay to rebook. We requested an extension on our last day and then our friends received an offer to extend at HALF PRICE. We were denied the same discount because request was a few hours earlier. Seriously! The firewood is charged more than twice the cost at the local store just 6 mins away. Stay at the State Park instead.
