These people are crooks. Today I went online and booked a Pontoon, when I did it I accidentally booked it for tomorrow, I went in and updated for the correct date July 22. I spoke with an agent there about when we could pick up the boat and after talking with our friends who were going we decided that picking the boat up so late in the day would not work for us. So I went online to cancel the reservation. I got a notice that I cancelled within 3 days of the reservation and they were charging my card and would not refund it and I was getting a voucher. I called up there and spoke with them and they said that had to be incorrect and they would fix it and get my card credited. Then 30 minutes later they called me back and said technically I originally booked it for tomorrow and they were not going to give me my money back, even though I had updated the date to a month out and even had a confirmation email stating that!! I was not happy, I asked for a manager to call me back. When she did, I apologized for getting upset and asked her to do the right thing and refund our money. She refused. These people are trying to steal $500 from us over a technicality. I have never in my life dealt with a company not willing to work with a customer. I have to admit I lost it and the woman hung up on me. I have never been treated so poorly by a company and I have never in my life been so angry.

Felt scammed. Booked site online and arrived to a vehicle parked in our space. We graciously moved after a delay to rebook. We requested an extension on our last day and then our friends received an offer to extend at HALF PRICE. We were denied the same discount because request was a few hours earlier. Seriously! The firewood is charged more than twice the cost at the local store just 6 mins away. Stay at the State Park instead.

I can't say enough great things about this place! Cortney worked with me for 2 years in helping plan an event, and over the course of those two years, she always went above and beyond to accommodate our group. The food was wonderful, the bartender and staff were so great, we honestly couldn't have asked for a better evening! The lodge was clean and came with everything we needed. Cortney helped get the band, the bar and the food stations all set up before we arrived, which made everything so easy (and so quick) once we arrived to setup! I loved the lodge and how it overlooked the lake. The large back porch was great to sit and overlook the water. Later in the evening we were able to open the garage doors to let the fresh air in, which was such a nice end to the day. Can't say enough great things about this place and the staff!! Would DEFINITELY come back again!!

We stayed at a “cabin” called “'Blackstone Island”. The purpose of the trip was a family get together. Keep in mind while you read this review that we paid $300 ish a night x 4 nights …… I expect MUCH more for that price! I researched multiple places before booking. I wanted something lakefront and good for swimming. This place slept 13 ish people. First off - it’s NOT a cabin NOR is it lakefront like they lead you to believe on the website. There is an entire RV park between you and the water. There is no swimming beach. We had to make do with the area that was there. Apparently there’s a public beach a mile away. We weren’t trying to pack everything up to go to another place. VERY dissatisfied with the swim area. Broken glass everywhere and just dirty. The “cabin”( errr 1980s double wide) has original carpet. The 13 beds are stacked in 2 bedrooms as bunk beds. 1 bedroom has a single queen bed (aaaawwwkkward). The pillows are flat s as a pancake. Like for real. Does the dollar Store sell pillows? If so then that’s where they came from!! The mattresses- AWFUL - thinner than the pillows!! Like an old RV mattress pad. And EVERY.SINGLE.BED. SQUEAKS. Like baaad! Bring some WD40! As much as this place charges, I expect things to be better. Not 5 star quality- but better. At least comfortable. THERE IS ONLY 1 TV in the whole place. Good luck if you sleep with the Tv on! Overall- ' if they would invest a few thousand dollars and clean the swim area they would get repeat customers and make more $$. We will go to Tanglewood or an AirBnB next time.

Rented rv site during holiday weekend, a bit tight but grounds were freshly mowed and clean. Got there around 1pm checked in and nice girl at desk gave us map and circled our site. Down hill from there us and others 10 or so were all setting up and kind of helping each other spot our rigs onto pads, fellow campers help each other out. All done and good until most noticed voltage was dropping to our rigs the more using it the worse it got 85 to 90 volts at times. Up and down. Switched fridge and water heater to gas and at times had to turn ac off for fear of compressors being damaged. Ran generator off and on thru the weekend to cool off a bit. Hopefully daisy chained electric to rv pads fixed by now. Then after one of our fellow campers went to office to ask about it was told can be difficult to regulate during high usage weekends and she will have someone check into it. No change all weekend. Oh well we all just made the best of it not much more we could do. So all was as good as possible, great fellow campers and clean spots until all of us got calls or texts later in the day explaining we were charged an additional day to our cards on file due to checking into our empty spots before check in time which we found out was 3pm and most were there before that setting up. Were rudely told that is how it is and could not be changed. Overall rv sites are ok tight and bad electricity some gravel on them. Prob will try another area next time. They are trying to get it right but have a long way to go.

My family of 5 stayed in this 3 bedroom cabin that had a huge deck, and you could see the lake if you sat at the end of the deck. The cabin (which is actually a trailer) was ok, but only had a sleeper sofa and tv on the wall in the living room. We had to take the kitchen table chairs in to the living room to watch tv and visit. The front door would not stay shut unless you put the deadbolt on. So that was a pain in behind if you went out and someone locked it. The kitchen was ok but some of the cabinets were screwed closed so we could not use them. The electric stove was hard to use and I could not get the burners to heat up except one. The fridge was ok, but the bottom drawer kept falling off the track when you open it. The bathroom was ok, but had a very tiny bathtub and a very small sink with hardly no counter space. There was a large area of wasted space, maybe it was a closet or something at one time. There were plenty of towels, soap, and toilet paper. There was a master bedroom at one end of the trailer that had a dresser and small closet. All bedrooms had a full size bed. The 2nd & 3rd bedrooms were at the other end of the trailer and those beds in both rooms were hard and crunchy. My sister had a hard time sleeping in her bed and so did we in our bed. Both rooms only had one small end table. Luckily we brought a tv tray. Our bedroom door squeaked every time we opened it. None of the bedrooms have a tv. Apparently the ac was not on when we arrived the 1st night so it took a long time to cool down. Luckily we brought fans. The ac in the trailer worked great. So we were comfortable the second night. The parking is awkward and only one large truck can fit because there is a bbq grill as well. But there is parking on the other side where the office is. We had to park our car there, at the end near the trailer. On the 2nd day (a Saturday), our sewer backed up and we had to call the 24 hr emergency to report it. They sent a guy over, however he had to call a plumber and they had to dig and drain the septic tank, which was near the deck. Apparently it was full. Needless to say this started in the evening around 5:00 pm. right when I wanted to start my bbq dinner, and we wanted to play horseshoes. It took them several hours to fix the problem. All in all, it wasn't that bad, but it could have been better. Not sure I would stay in the Cabin again. It needs a lot of repairs and the mattresses or beds need to be replaced. I have also stayed in Cabin #43 with my daughter & her family and I would not stay in that one either. There are many more to choose from so I may try one more time in a lake front cabin . There are different cruises available. My sister and I took the sightseeing cruise. It was very informative and we enjoyed it. There is a marina/store where you can buy snacks and sodas/beer/gifts, etc. There was a food truck there, but I never saw it open. The grounds are nice and there are picnic areas.

Great service by all the staff. Very efficient and especially in finding a rental boat. The boat was clean full of gas and a great ride. The front desk staff is great. Very attentive to our needs knowledgeable about safety. Steve was the best and very helpful! - Clair and Joey

We have been staying at the lighthouse marina for over 20+ years but after this year we will NOT be going back!! The front desk service was HORRIBLE!! They were beyond rude and hateful. They ended up charging us extra after we left for “damages” to towels, wash clothes, sheets, and mattress toppers. They told me they were saturated in pee… …it’s called washing with bleach (something they should already be doing). My son and nephew had an accident. They also tried to say there was blood on the towels. But we used one of the towels to clean some red candy up. Which this should be able to be bleached and come right out. They were also rude to my family about where they were swimming at in the water. But there is no signs stating where you can and cannot swim at on the premises!! Overall this experience was horrible and I do NOT recommend them to anyone!!

We stayed here in our RV and I don’t believe we will again. We have two small dogs and every time we take them outside even just right by the door, they come in with burrs all over them. We have to hold them all the time! It is a shame because if you can reserve the sites by the water, you have a great view and doesn’t seem to have as many burrs. Otherwise the RV sites are very close. This past weekend we were in the third site from the road and could not see anything. The RVs were so big (and we have a 32) we couldn’t around them. ??

We planned a family weekend to be together and go fishing during Fall break. The cabin (mobile) had plenty of kitchen items to use. Stove, fridge, microwave, toaster, and a coffee maker which was great for us. The outside grill (charcoal) was small and well used. Cable tv was available although we did not have it on much at all. One of the rules for the cabin was to leave it clean to avoid being charged a $250 cleaning fee. That was acceptable although it was not very clean when we arrived. I could write my name in the dust on the nightstand. A quick once through by housekeeping would have helped. There also was not a swiffer or broom available. The beds were very uncomfortable and squeaked, squeaked with every little move. This cabin has a bedroom (full bed) and a space with a full bed plus living room space and a kitchen. None of the doors close well without using a latch. Towels and linens are provided in the furnished cabin. The boat launch is without a dock. It was so shallow our boat could not pick us up so we walked to the marina and were picked up. The price for a small bundle of firewood was $20. Bring your own!! There is a playground. If you reserve a cabin and change your reservation be prepared if the cost is lower, for a voucher that has a six month expiration. No refunds! The marina has a store, rents boats and kayaks. Fishing charters are available and it was great fishing with the guides. I might stay here again and give a different cabin a try, not 22 again! The weekend was planned last minute so my guess would be with more plan time somewhere else would be chosen. The questions below refer to “hotel”. These were answered regarding the cabin. Attached are some photos from the inside of the cabin upon arrival.

It was a last minute decision, but to get a spot right on the lake was an awesome last minute getaway for us. The service staff was attentive and prompt in responding. Firewood and a fire pit!!!! Fishing off the bank (alas, nothing). The layout did not feel crowded and good electric/water (sewer-full hook up would have been nice and would add a notch. Utilities are at end of the spaces - front or back you decide - which limited how we had to park so we could reach. It is so close that this is a really decent option for a weekend on Lake Texoma.

This place is a joke! It’s run by high schoolers who have no respect for customers. We have rented from them and all the other rental places around them in the past. However, the issue we had last weekend made me want to let everyone know what a crooked company this is. After realizing one of the fine print items in their contract I let them know I was no longer interested in renting from them. However, the clown at the register threatened to charge me anyway without my consent saying there was nothing that could be done to reverse the transaction and offered no solutions besides extortion. Save your money and rent from a different place.

Great quiet place to relax.

Save yourself unecessary stress by renting from a reputable marina. The manager Michael and owner Smokey (Bob Tucker) are completely evasive. Kids working there with zero customer service skills. The other resort managers had nothing but negative opinions of lighthouse it’s changed ownership so many times and they hear only negative comments..

First to put it out there, if you are looking for frilly and fancy this is not the place. The cabins here, at least by ours and what we saw, are all rustic modular homes/trailer homes placed on permanent structure. They are clean and overall in good shape. There is a smoke alarm which is placed right above the stove which did not seem like a great place to be as our first morning cooking bacon it went off. From then on just opened all the windows and the door, no problem. We were in cabin 15 it has a great view of the water and is right on the water front. There is an area for trailers/motor homes. It states "no tent camping" If you are wanting a private get away, this is not the place. The cabins are crammed in there. For us - it was perfect for our needs. Picnic table, grill, and fire pit right there. Marina short walk. We will be back for sure. I wish the restaurant was open, but unsure if it is closed permanently or just due to COVID19.
