Best Tacos i have ever had, both beef or shrimp.
We were at the DG and saw their taco truck. We decided to check it out and the food was amazing. Very fresh and tasty! Definitely homemade! We will be back for sure!
Don’t let the “to go” fool you, this is the freshest, highest quality Mexican food that I have eaten. Top notch food and people.

El Changarrito Mexican Food is a locally owned and operated gem in Presidio, offering some of the absolutely best tacos and plates. The food is homemade and delicious, with standout items like the brisket tortas, which features buttery, flavorful bread and juicy brisket. The alambre taco plates are super delicious with layers of complex flavors and texture, and the Mexican rice is moist and seasoned well. The tacos al pastor are phenomenal, fresh, and delish, while the carne asada is the best of the meats. The brisket quesadilla, fish tacos when available, and flautas are also go-to choices. The owners are super accommodating, kind, friendly, and welcoming. Customers order at the counter and eat outside at a cute and comfy patio with picnic tables. The restaurant is reasonably priced with large portions. The drive from Terlingua is absolutely worth it for the unforgettable meal, and the guy at the counter is really nice and helpful. Don't miss this place when in Presidio—excellent all around.
