We stopped here on a whim and were blown away by the amazing food and service. We had the best horchata and tres leches we’ve ever had. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area!
The menu is a mix of American and Mexican and have had both on two visits. The Mexican food is classic and very good. On my last visit, I had the Fideo soup and the spinach salad with grilled salmon. The salmon was grilled perfectly with an excellent crispy finish. Service is good and the atmosphere is clean, spacious, bright. This was such a terrific surprise (considering that this gem of a restaurant is in a border town of 3,300). Entering this spotless, great looking dining room was the first great impression, then the service by our wonderful servers was the second. Then the food... outstanding. Undoubtedly, the best beef brisket quesadillas I have ever enjoyed. Add to that the freshly made horchata beverage.It is so good, that it is almost worth the 9 hour drive just to go back.
