I was excited to come to this cafe because I know a local family owns it. The food was absolutely delicious I ordered Robyn from the breakfast menu- it came out in a timely manner. The only downside about this visit was the customer service. The young lady at the front desk did not greet me or offer a smile- I came with my 9 month old and she didn’t offer to bring the baby chair to my table (even though my hands were clearly full). It was awkward and uncomfortable with the young lady. I will return for the food however I hope we can get a more friendly person at the front. Also the coffee was cold and I did not like it.I still gave 4 stars because it’s a food place and the food itself was amazing.

I absolutely LOVE the green gobler! What I enjoy the most is when I call in to order or even submit an email and I cannot remember the name of this wrap Alexis always knows what I am trying to order. I remember when I first tried Southpaws Cafe. Never have I eaten here before so I said surprise me and green gobler is what I received. Let me tell you I now crave this wrap and the sweet tangy spicy sauce as well as the fresh fruit given as my choice for the side. Service whoo the service is phenominal I mean who can order something last minute and they pull through! Southpaw Cafe you are an inspiration to be healthy even on the fly. Excellent food, outstanding service, and great ambiance.In the middle of hesitation, a moment of courage, then some anxious moments of quiescence while patiently waiting for the Soup of the Day, a Spicy Beef Sandwich, and Sweet Tea. Sweet tea... a distinct flavor for sweet tea for sure. I enjoyed the herbal taste of the tea, with just the right amount of ice, carefully measured so as not to overwhelm the taste of the tea with excess ice.Courteous attention, and then after a few minutes, the food is served, and I experience a unique and tasteful sandwich, carefully crafted; yes, crafted to invade the senses with bursts of flavors from carefully picked herbs and spices, combined with spicy beef on wheat bread; fresh as spring water.The tables clean, the place austere, with music playing in the background. A little loud, you could say, but who is listening when you are enjoying such good food? Maybe that is why the music is played as is; can't have one sense have all the fun!
