Arrived around 7:45ish on Friday night. Nice young lady said we’d need to wait a few minutes which was no problem. Then a less friendly lady walked over after we had waited & said they weren’t going to make anymore food & the kitchen was closed. I let them know that it shows nine that they’re open until 10:00 (we had driven into town specifically to eat there). Then the younger girl said the manager forgot the password & can’t get online to change the closing time. So closing time on a Friday night is 7:55 in case anyone is wondering. Happy New Year!

Amazing chicken fried steak, you better be hungry! The thickest one I have ever had! Wait staff was very attentive and took great care of us. I will definitely drive back to try other things on the menu.

Shrimp tacos are the best with pulled pork nachos a close second! Hubby enjoys the chicken friend steak.

Great food. I had the 12 oz ribeye and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The server did a great job. We had a pretty large party and she was very attentive and we had zero issues with our orders. The atmosphere was great as well. I liked that they still had the vault door inside from the old bank. They had live music which was a tad lot and made it a bit difficult to conversate but the singers were so good it made up for it lol. All in all I would definitely visit again and I would recommend anyone in the area to stop in.

Friendly service and down home vibe with some great food. Crisp salad, perfectly cooked and seasoned ribeye and tasty fried mushrooms filled me up. Salsa was a little lame if I'm being honest here. The beer was cold so that made up for it.

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to rear entrance on north side.

We stopped here on a Thursday for dinner en route to the Metroplex. It's a cool spot with a nice vibe. Definitely get the small town experience seeing the neighbors interact, but still get the same warm welcome as travelers. The food was great. We started with the stuffed jalapenos and I had the hamburger steak with the cowboy potato and green beans while my partner went with the chicken fried steak with cowboy potato and corn. Everything was fresh and had home-cooked nostalgic flavors. The toast especially had those childhood memories coming back, tasted like grandma used to make. We just had water because the travel but they do have a full bar.The only issue we had was with service. The waitress was very new and seemed flustered as it got busier. The menu says the entrees come with two sides, but we were charged for an extra side on each plate for the second side. Overall recommend the stop and it's worth getting off 287 into downtown, just check the ticket.

Parking: Lots of free street parking in the area.

Burgers are good. Shrimp tacos turned out to be quite good. Pulled pork was very good. Steak nachos are lacking a lot. I would have grilled the steak with onion to give it flavor and sprinkled with salt and pepper. All of the dishes need refinement.
