“Really nice, spacious, well-lit and landscaped. This is one of those travel center type places that are state sponsored and geared towards facilitating tourism (not just your average rest area). Very clean inside and outside, safe and secure, covered picnic area pavilions and even has a playground. Family friendly and a great place to stop during the day or night whether you're a long haul trucker or just a casual traveler.”
“Stopped here on the way back from New Mexico. Great atmosphere, food and music! Everyone was friendly and clean bathrooms!Parking: All up and down streetKid-friendliness: Kids love to dance when band is playing! Mostly families we came in around 8.”
“Stopped in on our way back to Dallas and had a great experience! We had a burger, the club sandwich and a chili dog with onion rings. All were fresh and yummy. Homemade chili, hand-pattied burger and the grilled ham on the club took it to the next level! In and out in 30 minutes. We will be making this a regular stop in future trips! Not much to look at but clean and service was excellent and friendly! A little hole in the wall gem!”
“We couldn't wait for this restaurant to reopen. We really enjoyed the old Medicine Mound Depot restaurant and hoped the food would be just as good. We weren't disappointed! The portions are huge and tasted very much like mom or grandma used to make. If you're wanting a commercialized taste in your food this is not the place for you. If you want a goodness to honest home cooked meal then The Old Train Station Depot is the place for you. Our waitress Bethany was attentive to our needs and took our orders without writing anything down. She was spot on and remembered who got what food.Parking: The parking lot is large and easy to get into and out of.”
“Stopped here with a group while visiting Copper Breaks State Park. We had no clue what to expect, as there were no reviews on Google. After eating our food, we were pleasantly surprised. I got pulled pork and sliced sausage, both were really good. We topped it off with some Reese’s Peanut Butter cake.Only note is that they should play some soft country music or something in the seating area. Create some atmosphere. It’s awkwardly quiet in there while eating.Overall, I recommend it if you’re in the area!”
“Surprisingly good fried chicken on your road trip. The counter area was clean and so was the kitchen part from what I could see. It made for happy road trippers. No complaints.”

“It's 113 degrees pups and I needed a break so we stopped here. Service was friendly and we didn't have to wait long. There was also a bathroom on the side which Sonic typically doesn't have.”
